Unlike the earlier screenshots which had a date of October 16, these screenshots reveal no such date details, so as to give away the time this UI was
devised and tested. If these screenshots are from Windows Mobile 7, then the Zune UI confirms the recent rumor that Zune is indeed coming to Windows

Update on Windows 7 RTM

When will you get Windows 7 RTM?
When will I get Windows 7 RTM?
Brandon LeBlanc: I recognize this is an important question to have answered. Many of you
have said you want to know exactly when you will be able to get your hands on RTM. Last Monday, I gave an update on RTM to close
out some myths. In that update, I also gave a broad timeline on when different groups of people or audiences would get the final RTM code.
While I have nothing new to add regarding RTM today, I do however have more precise information to give on when you will be able to
get RTM. Again, when you can get RTM depends on who you are.

Leaked Google OS Screenshots?
Screenshots have surfaced of the suspected Google Chrome OS, without any reliable source or confirmation to back up the claims. The six leaked screen
shots show what could possibly be the very first screenshots of the new developer's beta operating system. The beta is labeled 0.1.15 in one of
the screenshots, showing the early stages of the operating system. If proven real, the screenshots indicate a Mac OS X spin on things from Google,
showing a dock in the screenshot, rather than having a taskbar like Microsoft Windows does.

Windows Mobile 6.5 brings improved Soft Keys
We earlier saw some leaked screenshots of Windows Mobile 6.5 build 21159 which showed some changes in the user interface. One such improvement was
that of the Windows Media Player This seems to be an improvement of the soft key menus in the Windows Mobile interface. It is best understood when
we compare the old and the new interface That looks like a good improvement as it looks more "touch-friendly" One more thing to note is how the
highlighted items now have a glassy look to them.

Engineering Windows 7: Our Next Engineering Milestone
Steven Sinofsky: This post is about the path from RC to what we call RTM, release to manufacturing. RTM is not one point in time but a process as
from RTM we enable the PC manufacturers to begin their processes of building Windows 7 images for new PCs, readying downloads for existing machines,
and preparing the full supply chain to deliver Windows 7 to customers. Thus RTM is the final stage in our engineering of Windows 7, but the
engineering continues from RTM until you can purchase Windows 7 and Windows 7 PCs in stores at General Availability, or GA...
