Microsoft takes users feedback very seriously and are committed to it "The work of acting on feedback responsibly and managing the development of

receiving much positive feedback than expected from the beta testers, we had Long Zheng and Rafael, two Windows enthusiasts, come with a proof that
malware can turn off UAC in Windows 7. Later Microsoft responded insisting that this is by design and actually not a bug. Later, again, we had Zheng
and Rafael come out with a second flaw which showed Windows 7 UAC was still flawed. At this time, everybody thought Microsoft had done the right thing
with Windows Vista UAC and compromised security over consumers' feedback in Windows 7.

02.03.2007Will the 'real' Windows 7 testers please stand up?
After two-plus years of development, Windows 7 is almost done.
Microsoft officials have been thanking
(though not to some testers’ liking more on that later) the millions who downloaded the various test builds and provided feedback for their
help in building the product.
However, Microsoft’s brass isn’t thanking publicly an inner circle of about 40 or so
individuals who actually were the “real” Windows 7 testers. This group of hand-picked individuals are the ones on whom the Windows team
seemed to count for a lot of the feedback about the various test builds of Windows 7 as it made its way through the development pipeline...

22.07.2009Suggestions For Future Versions of Windows
The Windows Early Feedback program was created by Microsoft as a means of rounding up suggestions and feedback that may be considered for
implementation in future iterations of the Windows operating system. The team in charge of the program has collected and released a list of (what they
consider to be) the top 61 suggestions to be presented to the development team of Windows 7.
The ideas being presented to the team range
from basic usability improvements, such as a download manager in Internet Explorer, to more far fetched ideas, such as the ability to back up Xbox 360
games to a PC (good luck with that one). Some of the top suggestions are even features that were promised for and then dropped from Vista, such as a
completely vectorized graphical user interface.
Check out the list by clicking the link below and let us know if anything catches your
eye. Think you have a better idea? Lets hear it!

10.11.2007Sinofsky acknowledges Vista UAC is a problem
Giving a nod to developers who've apparently given a lot of feedback, as well as "certain commercials," Microsoft's platform chief Steven Sinofsky
acknowledged that perhaps User Account Control in Windows Vista may have been...a little annoying.
"We got a lot of feedback
about Windows Vista," Sinofsky said, before pausing several seconds for the inevitable developer response. Given the vast amount of response he
received, he said, "We have to do what developers do." That is, to sit back, re-evaluate, and say, "What did we learn from that?" That, he said,
is what engineering is about.
