Windows Internet Explorer 7 DOWNLOAD
Few days ago at RSA, Bill Gates talked about Internet Explorer 7. As the guy responsible for IE, I wanted to say a couple of things about it.
First, some basics: we’re committing to deliver a new version of Internet Explorer for Windows XP customers. Betas of IE7 will be available this summer. This new release will build on the work we did in Windows XP SP2 and (among other things) go further to defend users from phishing as well as deceptive or malicious software.

Microsoft appears to have
published Office 2007 and
Vista keys to Select licenced
customers.
Along
with the keys is a download
entitled "Windows Vista
Enterprise English Disk Kit
MVL ISO CD". It's not quite
clear what this is but since
the download is 2641MB you can
only assume it's Windows
Vista Enterprise Edition. The
download was published a few
hours ago.
We are
currently awaiting a response
from Microsoft and will update
shortly.
Update: Microsoft
have now pulled the download
but the keys remain. Updated
with screenshot of what was. A
Microsoft spokesperson has
confirmed that Vista has not
yet RTM'd but is unable to
explain the odd appearance of
Vista Enterprise.

Starting tomorrow August
7th, our Software Assurance/Volume License customers will be able to download the Windows 7 Enterprise Edition as well.

Cameron Sturdevant: Hyper-V, Microsoft's virtualization option for Windows Server 2008, has taken another step toward final release. Released for
download by Microsoft on May 20, Release Candidate 1 adds support for Windows 2000 Server Service Pack 4 and Novell's SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10
SP1 for both x86 and x64. Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 will be available in a future update, according to the release notes for the LIC
(Linux Integration Components) add-on software. During tests of RC1, I bolted on LIC and installed SUSE, along with Windows Server 2000 SP4, to get a
look at the new capabilities.
