How to Share Large File on The Web Using MegaUploadOne of the most advantage of using MegaUpload, compare with other similar service, is the duration how long your file(s) will be kept in their server. Your uploaded files will be deleted only after it become unused for 30 days. So, if many of your friends download it, over and over again, the files will always be there. The size is quite big, up to 250MB. Not as big as YouSendIt which allow up to 1GB file size, but it's more than enough to share your music files, movies, etc.

Asia continues to be the biggest driver of Microsoft's mobile business.
Chris Sorensen, Microsoft's Asia-Pacific, Greater China
and Japan lead product manager for its mobile communications business division, said in an interview with ZDNet Asia: "Mobile phones are critical
markers of social status and identity in Asia, more so than in Europe and America. Everything about the phone is a very visible marker of the type of
person you are."
According to Sorensen, Asia makes up the most significant portion of Microsoft's mobile business -- 46 percent
of the software maker's global mobile market. In comparison, the region covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa counts for 37 percent, with the
Americas trailing at 17 percent.
In 2008, Microsoft plans to open 35 new concept stores in China to promote its mobile operating
system (OS), Windows Mobile.

betanews.com - 23.04.2008Convert Firefox into a text-only browser
Dennis O'Reilly: Last week I described how to
use a simple Javascript to determine the age of a Web page. The only problem: if the page has any dynamic elements that update automatically when
the page loads (and these days most Web pages do), the script shows the current time and date.
For pages without auto-update
content, type javascript:alert(document.lastModified) into the address bar and press Enter to see a window pop-up with the date and time of the
page's last update. I'm still looking for a way to find out how recently specific content on a Web page was updated.

betanews.com - 10.10.2008Google Chrome, a Shell for the Web
"In the long term, we think of Chromium as a tabbed window manager or shell for the web rather than a browser application. We avoid putting things
into our UI in the same way you would hope that Apple and Microsoft would avoid putting things into the standard window frames of applications on
their operating systems. The tab is our equivalent of a desktop application's title bar; the frame containing the tabs is a convenient mechanism for
managing groups of those applications. In future, there may be other tab types that do not host the normal browser toolbar," explains a document about Chrome's user experience.

winbeta.org - 18.06.2007Application Specific Glass Colorization in Windows 7?
Microsoft might be introducing application specific glass renderings. The color of the glass frame around a window can be changed in Vista, but the
change is global to the system. The color of any particular window glass frame can not be set by choice. But, how about being able to change the
color/opacity level of a the glass frame of any application through defined events or commands? According to a Patent number 7418668:
A
method for changing a color value and/or level of opacity value of a glass appearance window frame for an application window is described. The method
includes steps of determining a defined color value and a defined level of opacity value to apply to a glass appearance window frame and displaying
the glass appearance window frame in accordance with the defined color value and the defined level of opacity value. A command may be received to
apply the defined color value and the defined level of opacity value to the glass appearance window frame, thereby applying the defined color value
and level of opacity value to the glass appearance window frame. Color values and/or level of opacity values may be changed automatically, be
application specific, and/or be changed in response to receipt of an input from a user to change one or more portions of a default configuration.
neowin.net - 06.09.2008Win Mobile 7 now delayed to 2010?
Microsoft's already reported Windows Mobile 7
delay will be longer than anticipated in practice, according to a tip
obtained by VentureBeat. While not immediately pointing to a further delay past late 2009 in completing the mobile OS itself, the reputed
source suggests that both carriers and manufacturers will need "months" to refine and produce their own versions. This would push any release until
at least 2010 and leave a three-year window between Windows Mobile 6 and its sequel.

When Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha said overnight that his company's phones would eventually carry Windows Mobile 7, he let on more than he probably

In answering an analyst's question during the Q&A portion of his company's earnings call, Jha said: "Yes, we are
still committed to Windows Mobile. As you know, Windows 6 series is available in 2009 and as compared to Android, we believe in 2009 Android is more
competitive; more of our effort and focus in 2009 is going to Android, but in 2010 when Windows 7 will become available, we will then participate in a
more focused way in Windows Mobile 7 in 2010."
