8.04 standard, but in an email that Dell sent to Betanews, they believed that installing the newest version is not in the best interest of the
mainstream users. Dell has stated two main reasons for sticking with the older version. A Dell spokesperson said, "We are trying to stay on a

Apple, please stop 'thinking different'
When Apple unveiled its latest Macbook and Macbook Pro the world rejoiced. Steve Jobs and his gang at Apple are excellent at product presentation and
sales. One thing that was somewhat overlooked at the launch was the inclusion on of mini-DisplayPort. It sounds great but where did Apple get this
DisplayPort mini idea from? It seems as if they came up with the idea to design, fabricate and now push the small form factor display port
themselves. It's also astonishing because mini-DisplayPort is following in the foot trails of mini-VGA and mini-DVI which all were wildly
adopted?

Mini-Notebooks Compete on Size, Speed and Price
When Intel announced the availability of its low-power chip, the Atom, at Computex in Taiwan this week, it signaled that the age of the cheap
mini-notebook had finally arrived.
Not bad for a product category that no one cared about six months ago.
Since its October 2007 introduction, Asus' small,
low-cost Eee PC has become a sleeper success, selling more than a million units, according to its manufacturer. That success has prompted other
manufacturers to announce their own mini-notebooks, including such mainstream PC manufacturers as HP, Dell and Acer. Intel also has proposed a
standard for low-cost ultralights that it is calling "netbooks."

Rumor: New Mac Mini coming to Macworld 2009

famous keynotes (assuming he does indeed show up). Here's what Wired.com believes will be in the next Mac Mini, based on trends seen in
Apple's latest products: Similar to the MacBooks, the Mac Mini will sport a silver enclosure composed of a block of aluminum.
