Microsoft has made available the specification sheet for the Zune HD, which explains the formats that the device can read and the approximated battery life of the device. The battery life for listening to music seems adequate but the battery life for watching videos seems very low.

conference. Ballmer showed of the new OLED screen with a Pixar animated movie. According to Ballmer the device will be shipping in a month which is a
lot earlier than the September 5th date we have heard. Update - Microsoft have just informed us the device is still slated to be launched in "fall"
so September 5th is still looking good.

will not see the Zune HD for some time as Microsoft may be testing the markets. "For the time being the Zune HD device will remain US only. Right
now we are focused on deploying an exciting service in the form of Zune Video to 18 markets. We are looking at potential future hardware experiences

BuyTV has posted several promotional videos of the new Zune HD which goes on sale next Tuesday, September 15. In one of the videos, named "portable
perfection", it's clear that the Zune HD will have 3D gaming capabilities as it appears mid-way through the commercial that a car game, most
likely Burnout, is running on the Zune HD. There's more videos included that demonstrate overviews of the car dock, HD radio, Xbox integration,
Zune HD video and AV dock. Microsoft is planning a Zune software update on the same day that it will release the new Zune HD. It's expected that

Microsoft's answer to Apple in the battle of two giants is coming closer and closer. On September 15th the Zune HD is going to launch and change
the face of Microsoft in the battle. Yesterday, the picture (which can be seen here) for the box of the new Zune HD was all over the internet. The
picture was courtesy of CrazyphoneGuy of Twitter and his Twitpic account. One thing to note is that the box is in colour which differs from the
previous boxes. According to him, the Zune HD did not appear at both of his Best Buys in the Houston-area.

Well what do we have here? Engadget appears to have stumbled upon something quite interesting. First, think back to a couple of Neowin articles
recently, stating that new Zune hardware is coming and that it'll be going international. Now take a look at the image below: This is what
Engadget thinks is the upcoming Zune; the 'Zune HD'. The images appear to be promotional ones, and Engadget has also stated that after talking
with sources, these are in fact real, and will be used to an upcoming Zune product from Microsoft. There's no official word on specifications yet,
but no doubt expect to see speculation about it now that these have been found.

Late last week Zune HD pictures began leaking from Redmond. We can confirm the pictures were from a promotional internal video and now Wmpoweruser
have received some additional pictures and information. Referred to internally as "Zune v4 powered by HD" the Zune HD looks like a 1st generation
iPhone with brushed aluminum back, pure glass front and multi-touch and wireless connectivity. The device is due to ship later this year in 16GB and
32GB versions. Microsoft's latest media player has no buttons on the front and a HDMI connection to play your HD content straight onto TV.
Microsoft is expected to update the Zune Marketplace with games, HD content and other goodies for this new Zune.
