customers.
Along
with the keys is a download
entitled "Windows Vista
Enterprise English Disk Kit
MVL ISO CD". It's not quite
clear what this is but since
the download is 2641MB you can
only assume it's Windows
Vista Enterprise Edition. The
download was published a few
hours ago.

currently awaiting a response

Bobbie Harder: Posting this as I've noted just a little bit of confusion with how Office 2007 SP1 is made available for download after it's release
yesterday. As you know, Office 2007 SP1 was released yesterday to Microsoft Update, and to WSUS as part of the Tues, Dec 11th release.
As planned, Office 2007 SP1 was not pushed via Automatic Updates. There has been some confusion where Windows Vista customers are seeing
Office 2007 SP1 listed as available with an option to install in their Windows Update control panel applet. The new Vista experience of the Windows
Update applet combines the convenience of the Microsoft Update site, by isting all applicable available updates, and the best of the Automatic
Updates behavior. This allows users to specify what update types they want to automatically download and install (and when), as well as combines the
interactive experience of the Microsoft Update site.

Fraternal twins sometimes follow very different paths, with one sibling greatly excelling above the other. So the fates would appear to be of Office
2007 and Windows Vista, which Microsoft birthed one year ago today.
Birth order would favor Office 2007, which businesses could
immediately start testing and deploying, because Microsoft initially released both products only through volume licensing. A year ago, about 40
percent of Office revenue came from volume licensing, while OEMs accounted for about 80 percent of Windows Vista sales. Office 2007 was released
through the favored enterprise acquisition channel, but Vista wouldn't be available in its preferred channel, through OEMs, for another two
months.
Office 2007 also benefited from another fundamental advantage: IT organizations tend to buy applications, while operating
system decisions are predicated by the application choice.
