A gamer fed up with his new Xbox 360 crashing every 20 minutes has fixed the problem by raising the power supply off the ground with some string.
Dan, from Duluth, or 'goldeneyemaster' as he is known, told the game spot forum here that he thinks the main reason that the xBox 360 freezes is because the power supply overheats. The solution is to lift the power supply off the floor and allow the air to circulate better around it.

27.09.2007MoGo Dapter: World's Smallest Bluetooth Adapter
Newton Peripherals has
revealed a device that is
believed to be the smallest
Bluetooth adapter ever: the
MoGo Dapter. Newton
Peripherals' engineers
designed the USB adapter in
such a way so that it
protrudes as little as
possible from the USB port,
making it all the easier to
keep plugged in while
travelling. IMS Research and
the Bluetooth Special Interest
Group estimate that as many as
250 million laptops without
Bluetooth support are in daily
use. The MoGo Dapter offers to
fill in this need and can
essentially "become one with
the laptop" (it's puny, see
the picture below).
"The MoGo Dapter is
consistent with our corporate
objective of producing
powerful and easy-to-use
products that enable mobility
on the go. Many laptop
computer users refuse to use
adapters of any kind, because
they can catch, break off or
become lost. As a result, they
are not getting as much as
they can from their mobile
computing experience. The MoGo
Dapter solves that challenge,
and represents a significant
step forward. We believe the
ultra-low profile of the
Dapter will become the
standard design for adapters
of all kinds, " said Matthew
Westover, Newton Peripherals'
President and CEO.
The MoGo Dapter will be
available in Q2 2007 starting
at $49.99 USD.

09.08.2007Microsoft denies any Xbox 360 Blu-ray drive possibility
Three years ago at E3 2006, Bill Gates, former CEO of Microsoft, announced a Xbox 360 HD DVD player that was capable of playing HD-DVD's. After
the bloody war between HD-DVDs and Blu-ray discs was over and HD-DVD's were no more, Microsoft decided to discontinue the HD DVD drive for the
Xbox 360. Since then there have been multiple rumours regarding a possible Blu-ray drive coming to the Xbox 360. While statistics from the Digital
Entertainment Group clearly show a spike in Blu-ray movie sales (91% in the first half of this year), Microsoft once again denied that a Blu-ray
player for the Xbox 360 was in the making.

20.10.2005Microsoft Xbox 360 Hit With More 'Disc Scratch' Lawsuits
The legal troubles continue to
mount for Microsoft's Xbox
360 video game console. In the
past week, two more lawsuits
have been filed claiming that
the Xbox 360 leaves
irreparable scratches on game
discs -- bringing the total
number of such cases to at
least four.
In the
most recent action, Los
Angeles resident Steve Carlie
claims that an Xbox 360 system
he purchased in November, 2005
ruined several of his games.
In a filing last week in U.S.
District Court in Seattle,
Carlie stated that "the Xbox
360 frequently scratches game
disks rendering them unusable
to the consumer."
Carlie said that the
problem occurs because the
laser drive in the Xbox 360 at
times makes contact with the
game discs.
A disc
replacement program operated
by Microsoft is insufficient,
Carlie says, because it's
limited to games published by
Microsoft and the company
charges a $20.00 fee for each
game. "As of the date of this
complaint, Microsoft has not
released any form of repair or
replacement procedure for the
Xbox 360," Carlie adds, in
court documents. ..
