was happily running my very first version of Windows 7. Right around new years day, Microsoft released the first public beta (build 7000) of the next
gen OS. Since Microsoft was kind enough to share it with me, I decided to share it with everyone I know. Starting with my immediate family computers
and expanding to my network of friends and coworkers. I went on a upgrading frenzy, installing Windows 7 on just about any PC I could get my hands on.

install an operating system in them, so I thought that todays post should center on doing just that. As you may have guessed from the title, today
were going to talk about installing Windows Server 2003.
Before we begin, you should make sure that youve created an external
virtual network switch. See
yesterdays post for details on how to do that. You should also have a Windows Server 2003 CD or CD Image (which Ill refer to as
an ISO from now on) handy. Ideally, youll have SP2 integrated into the installation media, but if you dont, well take a trip to
Windows Update later on.

Microsoft officials say they are investigating reports that files the company deployed this summer prevent Windows XP users who run a built-in
"repair" function from installing as many as 80 of the company's latest security patches.
"We are aware of reports about
customers not being able to download some updates from Windows Update when using the latest version of the Windows Update client and after
reinstalling Windows XP system files from CD," a Microsoft spokesperson said Sept. 27. "We take this issue very seriously and are investigating the
root cause of this behavior and what options are available to address it."
The issue was brought to light by Scott Dunn, a
writer and associate editor with Windows Secrets Newsletter. According to Dunn, the problem is stealthy updates deployed by Microsoft in July and

200GB 5400RPM Hard Disk in ATA, not AHCI mode

174.94 GeForce Drivers
The test was conducted by wiping the previous partition, installing the operating system, installing
the chipset and all drivers, installing the benchmark, and rebooting prior to testing. This allowed for each operating to start on an equal playing
field.

scope. Case in point is Windows Server 2008. Now, there is no earthly reason why WS2008 cant support Bluetooth right out of the box. An yet, because
someone on the Server team decided that servers dont use Bluetooth, if youre one of the thousands of people who use WS2008 as a workstation, youre
SOL. Think just installing your Bluetooth drivers, or enabling the Wireless LAN Services feature will do it? Think again.

installation to install the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack on WS2008.
