In an interview about Halo 3's upcoming Mythic map pack with IGN, Bungie employees Lars Bakken, Multiplayer Designer, and Brian Jarrard, Community

Halo 2 Vista delayed again
While diehard Halo
fans are likely neck-deep in
the Xbox 360 Halo 3 beta, some
of them might have emerged
from their
man-cannon-grav-lift-and-bubbl
e-shield-induced stupor long

Windows Vista edition of Halo
2 has yet to show up in
stores.
Halo
2 was originally set for
release on the PC May 8, but
Microsoft pushed it back a
couple of weeks "to make some
improvements to the install
experience and address other
technical issues." It had
been expected to ship to
stores Tuesday, but when it
didn't show, Microsoft came
out with news of another
delay, but with no explanation
for it.
"Halo 2 for
Windows Vista did not release
to retailers on May 22, as
previously announced, and will
now ship from manufacturers on
May 31," a Microsoft
representative said.
"Shadowrun will be the first
game to debut the highly

Microsoft Announces Halo 3 Special Edition Console & New Trailer
The Halo 3 presentation was
the final part of Microsoft's
E3 Press Conference. The
segment kicked off with a
live-action trailer of the
Halo universe, giving hints as
to what can be expected from a
Halo movie. Familiar sights
from Halo looked great such as
battle rifles, Warthogs, and
even a Pelican.
Next,
Moore showed off a new product
that would coincide with the
September 25th launch of Halo
3. This September gamers can
pick up a special edition Halo
3 Xbox 360 console that will
be HDMI equipped. It will be a
Master Chief green color with
gold CD tray. A controller was
shown, and other accessories
are planned.
Finally,
there was the highly

Sony insults Halo 3 on Wikipedia
On the Halo series page at Wikipedia, an edit
originated from Sony Computer Entertainment casts aspersions on Microsoft's Halo 3. In the Halo 3 section of the Halo page, Sony added "(Halo 3)
wont look any better than Halo 2." (See the first and second story images attached below.) Since then, the Halo page has been corrected and locked
from further vandalism.
The WikiScanner discovery is also reported on Wired's 'Threat Level'. (See Alternative Sources.) The
report and IP address have been checked by Wired senior editor Kevin Poulsen, (i.e., see the third attached image for Poulsen's comments; "Sony
insults Halo 3" is the second report after the Walmart report.)
Finally, the forth and last image was taken from a 'Whois'
search at the RIPE.net database for "217.18.23.2", the IP address recorded by Wikipedia as having edited the Halo page. The query shows that
217.18.23.2 is registered to SCEE (Sony Computer Entertainment Europe) Liverpool Studios in Great Britain. The result also shows the studio's
physical address, phone number, and email address.
