install the new Microsoft Security Essentials software. The Director of Microsoft's Genuine Windows team, Alex Kochis, stated in his post that,

million--through Google. Not only will the Chinese be able to search for songs by artist and song title, but they will also be able to find tunes
based on beats per minute and musical style. The music, by Chinese and foreign artists alike, comes from Sony, Warner, EMI, and Universal--all
companies that have done deals with Google to open up portions of their catalogues for free distribution to anyone with an Internet connection in

video?" If I didn't respond to you personally, it's likely because there's not an easy answer. It depends on what type of video you have, and
what you want to do with it.
Let's start with the basics. If you didn't know, you likely already have
Windows Movie Maker, which was
included with
Windows XP Service Pack 2,
and recently beefed up for Windows Vista.
The XP version of Movie Maker is adequate for putting together clips into larger
videos, adding simple transitions, and making basic edits, but I can't recommend the experience. The
review on CNET Download.com is overly harsh, but it
encapsulates several problems you may encounter.

The BBC has announced its plans to create a platform-independent client in partnership with
Adobe.
Erik Huggers, Director of BBC Future Media & Technology, described the plans in a
blog post on the corporations site.
"Audio/visual is
the soul of the corporation and will form the backbone of a vastly improved bbc.co.uk in the years to come" noted Huggers.
The BBC plans
to use Adobe Integrated Runtime (
AIR) to enable iPlayer download
functionality on the Mac, Linux and Windows operating systems for the first time later this year. According to the BBC whatever platform you use,
you'll now be able to download TV programmes to watch later - on the train, in the garden, or wherever you like.
It's not
immediately clear if iPhone and iPod devices will be able to play the content as typically Apple has restricted this.
Content will still be
DRM protected but not in a way that will affect enjoyment of the programs that the BBC offers.
In a separate announcement earlier this week
the BBC also
revealed its plans to offer over the air
streaming to the Nokia N96.
