The Virtual Earth team has grown once again with the acquisition of Caligari Corporation, a small company that has been pioneering 3D modeling and
animation since it was founded in 1986. In 1994, Caligari released the famous trueSpace, a powerful 3D graphics and animation package (originally for
Amiga and now for Windows). Caligari CEO Roman Ormandy, the man who heads the team that is based in California and Slovakia, has brought trueSpace
through many releases over its 20-year history.
