YouTube Downloader is a free application that will download videos from YouTube and save them as Avi or Mpeg files to your computer.

YouTube Downloader allows you to easily grab and save desired youtube video.

Simply paste the URL of a video into the program, press Start, and the AVI or MPEG file will be downloaded into the selected folder.

You dont need any players to play flash video just play it on the defult media player clasic.

You also have a plugin for FF, that does the same and supports a lot more video sites.

I use bitcomet to download my Torrents, this also includes a function to download these files in Flv format, and as I have Vistacodecs 4.445 I can play them in media player.

For example you have a video open on Youtube, just right click on the page (not the playing video and then select download Video with Bitcomet. Job done

FF also has a script that lets you right click on embedded video so that you do it that way. Great share!
