Also works with already installed vista, as i checked myself with home premium x86.

Download This

- Open CMD with admin rights
- Set dir to c:\windows\system32
- Set date to 31-12-2099 with DATE command
- cscript slmgr.vbs - rearm
- Restart

- Open CMD with admin rights
- Set date back to current date with DATE command

- Run Vista test crack.exe from the expanded rar contents
- Click on install service on the window that opens
- Restart

You can check that it works after a few minutes / hours with
- Open CMD with admin rights
- Set dir to c:\windows\system32
- cscript slmgr.vbs -dlv

"time remaining" should stay stable at 43200 minutes.

Mine got stuck at 43196, not 43200.
So if it doesn't work right away, don't panic. Let it rest for a couple of hours and check back then.

I installed the crack. But the timer is counting down. I did get another 30 days after the install. I tried to reinstall by uninstalling the timer crack then changing the date. I get a blue screen, then a reboot when I try to use the command slmgr.vbs -rearm.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Will I have to try and reinstall every 30 days? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This did not work for my on my existing Vista Ultimate install. Upon reboot I was unable to logon to windows. It said my license had expired. I did a system restore and now I am back again. It still says my software is not genuine and I have 14 days to fix it. I'm about to get rid of Vista completely until some solid cracks can be worked out.

This is a solid crack however it does not work on the x64 versions.
Its only for the 32bit versions of vista, which is what 90% will be running anyway.

So install a fresh vista x86 final and make sure you DO NOT enter a key. Apply the fix and all should be well.

I think what a lot of people are doing is changing the setting in the BIOS, which is not necessary, as well during step 8 in the instructions it gives you an example of what you will see "To make the change effectively, please restart the system" a lot of people are rebooting after this! you cannot reboot! if you do you will get a licensing message on start-up. I almost rebooted myself until I read it a few times. hope this helps.

Hi.. im new here... hoping someone can help me out, I tried to apply the TimerStop crack and it all seemed to be working fine.. I got the service installed message, but the timer has not stopped counting down.

I have the correct registry entry and the timerstop.sys file in the \systemroot\system32 directory.

I dont have the a Timerstop service listed in service manager and when I tried to start it manually using NET START i get a pathname cannot be found message.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

I Downloaded vista ultimate from thepiratebay. i installed it and put in a serial key at the beginning of installation. Now i can't find a serial key to get passed the activation window, so i am running in Safe Mode to do the steps in this thread, but i ran into a problem...

after typing in "cscript slmgr.vbs - rearm"

this comes up...
C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs(291, 5) Microsoft VDScript runtime error: Permission denied


why is that coming up? and what can i do to get around this?
