Currently using the drivers windows update has for creative sb live 5.1

only get 2 speaker support

Mic doesn't work

is there any drivers available as creative doesn't have any listed on their support page.

possibly some generic one or other type that works?

we're just going to have to wait it out, i have the beta ones for my Audigy, and i only have two speaker support as well. give it a week or two and i bet we'll have some good drivers for creative products ...

when it says that it cant be installed then windows Pop-ups a thing saying use (I cant remember what it says... somthing like) recamended install or defalt install.. pick recamended.. or exctract the LiveDrvUni-Pack(ENG).exe and Force install it buy picking exctracted driver folder

i took a screenie of what is happening

I manually extracted the .exe . removed the vista one that windows detects which is wrong. then manually selected the xp driver after extracting.

Now it says that the driver is in but doesn't detect the audio device .

Download kx driver version 3538m from their forum, not official site.

Works perfect for vista. you will get 5.1, 4.1 or whatever.

If you don't know where, google it.
