How to enable Administrator account in Windows 7

Tip: Click here to update all your PC's outdated driversRemember the Administrator account that was present in good old Windows XP days? The master Administrator account is not visible by default in Windows 7 or Vista. Here is a simple way to enable it.
This account has complete access and permissions on the computer. It may be useful when you are in need of some serious troubleshooting.
The simple steps to enable and disable the master Administrator account in Windows 7 are as follows:
Enable the Administrator account:
Step 1: Open the command prompt in administrator mode
* Type ‘cmd’ in the start menu search box:
* Right click on the Program ‘cmd’
* Select “Run as administrator”:
Step 2: In Command Prompt:
* Type in the command ‘net user administrator /active:yes’
And you are done ! :D
Logoff and login again and you will now see an option for Administrator login!
Note: It is advisable to create a strong password for this account.
Disable the Administrator account:
* Login with your current user account.
* Open the command prompt in the administrator mode as in Step 1.
* Type in the command ‘net user administrator /active:no’

you can also go either to computer management in the local users and groups section to
enable the administrator account or to user accounts in the control panel to do this as
well.
the cat is right ... command promp just takes it longer (unless youre advanced user but
by then you would know this) and also requires logging off and logging back on .... so i
go with the "right click computer - manage - local users and groups - users - right click
administrator - enable - ok = youre done" way that i also recommend.
to my knowledge is the easier way not available in all os versions. so you need the cmd
way.

download "windows7 manager" from either yamicsoft (as a trial) or from www.2baksa.net
(with key), install and enable administrator account - couldn't be easier.
actually the command line is the easiest way to do this. you can also use 'control
userpasswords2', right click on the admin account and click enable.
