Lately we have seen many rumors spreading about Windows 7 Release candidate 2. Previously it was rumored that Microsoft had no planning of having Windows 7 RC 2 and may directly come up with Windows 7 RTM.
As per Wzor Windows 7 RC 2 is already compiled at Microsoft lab but there is still uncertainty on build number. Windows 7 RC has build number 7100 but latest compiled build as MS lab which is claimed to be RC2 is Build 7200 showing a significant jump in build number which may be due to massive changes.
As per wzor Windows 7 RC2 is already singed off and is made available to Microsoft TAP partners, MSDN subscribers and Connect users. Here are screenshots of claimed Windows 7 RC 2 build 7200.

i have access to ms connect and there is no such build there now, nor was there. the
current number up is 7147.

there are some basic prog that dont work for me any more even inthe newest versions even
under "comptability" so i think i'll wait and try the rtm to mention only two not
working prog: winavi and total recorder - but there a a few more

actually rc2 is suppose to be released june 12th to msdn/technet....no "public" release
of it.
