The Gmail Notifier is a application that alerts you when you recive a new Gmail message
The Gmail Notifier is a downloadable Windows application that alerts you when you have new Gmail messages.
It displays an icon in your system tray to let you know if you have unread Gmail messages, and shows you their subjects, senders and snippets, all without having to open a web browser.
Once you install the Notifier, you'll be able to:
· Automatically check for new messages every two minutes.
· See a snippet of text from up to 30 unread messages.
· Select a sound to indicate when you have new mail.
· Make Gmail your default email application.

why post an old march, 2006 program ?
been using this since vista was released.
never had additional "spam" other than
the usual that everybody gets.
gdow was my favorite gmail notifier but will not work
with vista or w7
i did read them today, its full of hate about my voice ect
no wonder you are getting flooded with spam. never never ever ever click on spam emails.
once you do,the sender realizes that your email account is active and you will receive
even more and more spam. if you don't recognize who is sending you an email then always
immediately delete it.
