Once again Wzor.info has posted a controversial post about Microsoft windows 7. As per Wzor Microsoft has started working on Windows 7 Service Pack 1 labeled as 7138.0.090523-xxxx-winmain_win7xxx_sp1_x, though compilation date can not be found as build number is blocked in a screenshot posted by wzor.

We have no idea why Microsoft would start working on Windows 7 SP1 so early and it makes no senses of having service pack before actual Windows 7 release. This could mean Microsoft is in process of implementing features which will be left out of Windows 7 final release due to time constrain.

Who knows it may be another marketing strategy of Microsoft to popularize Windows 7 among users.

my take on W7SP1 and Win8

By netsendjoe on 31.05.2009 - 02:05
heres my take on this on this.
we all should know that development is always a step ahead from what the public sees.
when windows xp went rc1, development was started on longhorn. when windows vista went rc1 development was started on windows 7... actually windows 7 was always in development with windows vista, its the finished version of what vista was supposed to be if there was never a longhorn reset and reorganization back in 2004. with all this out of the way and componentisation put into windows, the labratories already had working but maybe unstable or unfinished code when they released vista. this stuff was held back for windows 7 and some of it was held back for windows 8.
so i do believe that while windows 7 sp1 may be in development, right now its the same thing as what is in the rtm branch, because prior to rtm we are only testing finalization fixes for bugs, which in a sense is servicing. now here is another thought. windows 8 development is already going on too. windows 8 will include an updated interface, and more uniformity throughout all the window dialogs. you notice how most control panel items do not use the old dialogs, like display properties, instead they open up in the same window with white backgrounds and web-like controls. more old dialogs will be replaced this way to enhance ease of use and uniformity. vector graphics and 3d windows that scale and slide 3 dimensionally with 2 new buttons to the window, minimize, maximize, close, we'll now also have zoom and pan.
i dont even want to go into what technical features i think there will be... but i will hint at some things. better and enhanced networking and sharing that will utilize some other microsoft technologies, better and enhanced integration with windows mobile devices, windows media player will be replaced or completely based with something similar to the zune software, internet explorer will be replaced with something completely new that microsoft is working on in the labs, but will still maintain most of the functionality work that was put into ie8. windows 8 will be 64-bit only, have the same hardware requirements as windows 7, be available in the same or similair editions and go to market late 2012

Oh my
