Win 7 changes coming in the next build

In a February 26 post to the Engineering Windows 7 blog, Microsoft itemized some of the changes that it is making to Windows 7 that will be part of the Release Candidate (RC) test build that is widely expected in April.
From the blog post introduction by Windows chief Steven Sinofsky:
“(W)e want to start posting on the feedback and the engineering actions we’ve taken in responding to the feedback. We won’t be able to cover all the changes (as we’re still busy making them), but for today we wanted to start with a sampling of some of the more visible changes.”
The post goes on to detail some of the Windows 7 changes Microsoft is making in response to tester feedback — in the task bar, Media Player, networking, touch, the Windows Explorer and overall performance. Given that Windows 7 was deemed “feature-complete” as of the public beta that Microsoft released in January, the changes coming between then and the Release Candidate are largely cosmetic. (At least it seems that way to me….)
A number of Windows 7 testers have complained recently that Microsoft was not sharing enough information about changes it planned to make in response to their feedback.
Windows SuperSite’s Paul Thurrott questioned in a post yesterday whether Microsoft had already locked down Windows 7’s feature set before the majority of technical and public beta testers ever got to see a first release of the product. I’ve wondered the same.

i don't understand why people still complain about xp not being compatible with the new
os. its over 8 years old for god sakes! move on! if the crappy little application you are
using isn't compatible buy the new software cheap asses. i'm sure your dot matrix
printer too isn't compatible therefore you must upgrade that as well. good god!
you can't accses your bank acc. or some org. as was the case with iexp 7 at the begin.
winavi/totalconvertor/cucusoft/total recorder dont work at all and even my printer hp
j4580 works partialy(worked fine on 7000) and other prog work piculiar.trying to get help
from the new breed "portables" find them total not working.

ya that's all they got better to do with their macs. they talk trash because they
can't have the things that windows has. they found out that apple is gonna screw them
again on the next snow leopard with just tweaking performance and no big changes. while
windows 7 enables for better business applications, better performance, and not to mention
first os to be touch screen. till mac owns 90 percent of the market all apple fans should
stfu with your emo whiny comments.
xp users need to stay on xp and stfu too. nobody is forcing you to move up. if you want
to catch up with the times then get windows 7 if you want to stay an old fart then stay on
xp. it's like the days of windows 98/2000 fans complaining about me or xp, but yet they
somehow managed to go to xp.
