In December 2008, Windows 7 Beta 1 was leaked via torrents sites. Now there is one more leak and this time it's Windows 7 (build 7022).

but.... ehm.... how do i extract this zip?

i got it!!! it's a huge zip file that once already created has been subsequently splitted in 28 chunks.

so, use hjsplit or total commander to first join the chunks, and only then open the archive.

damn! this way is odd, one surely wonders why not simply go for a multi file rar archive?

where is the x64 version? why do we still get x86 released first. so ghetto. shouldn't people be testing it more on x64 since practically new hardware handles it?

you can extract the iso using 7zip :)

they could say it has no changes jsut ie8 beta in it so it could be a fake? no?

x64 where are yooouuuu, why do people want the x86 build anyway, it's pointless, specially when you have 4gb ram or more :p well it's not pointless for people with less than 4gb but come on it's the future :p

yoshi, they first release a x86 version because a large number of computers in the world is x86 yet. yes, x64 is so ghetto.



anyonr no if this 1 works with mcafee mcafee 2009 wont install on beta 1 of win 7

mcafee is and always has been junk. it just doesn't do the job at all ! ! ! i am a professional technician and i can't even count the number of computers i have cleaned viruses, trojans, ransomware, etc. from that were supposedly protected by mcafee and norton. norton is junk too. but the real thing is you think your protected, when you definitely are not. go with nod32. probably other good ones out there but i have no reason to chek them out, nod32 has worked flawlessly for me for years. yes it works on all versions of vista and windows 7.

klogmower - norton 2009 is one of if not thee best internet security suites out there. you're right about mcafee thugh, it has always been shite & yes i am a professional it tech too.

since anyone seems able to call themselves "professional" i distinguish myself with "master!"

norton is garbage with its over installed add-in parts it comes with. restricting the usability of a computer is not security in my mind. a user should not have to use half their system hardware to run ten programs that aren't always even needed. on the mcafee side the consumer level is junk, but the enterprise level works great for low resource usage and strong security.

now windows 7... wooo!

is windows 7 x64 build 7022 available for download?

nod32 is the best one out there for my money, i work on a lot of home systems that have been crippled by hundreds of trojan downloaders, worms, viruses, what ever, and supposedly protected by norton and mcafee. everything just blows right by them, but nothing has gotten by nod32 on my system, been using it for a long time, probably over 5 years now, running verizon 3-meg dsl. that's my experience, my own two cents worth ! !
