all my hardware was installed automatically with the exception of my old analog video
input card. the vista drivers from their page worked just fine.
windows 7 can use vista display drivers, but additional benefit can be gained by using a
windows 7 driver (of which you can't get apart from an older ati driver), which supports
the revised wddm 1.1. the wdm 1.0 (vista) drivers can be used on windows 7, but the wddm
1.1 drivers i believe can not be used on vista...
i'm an nvidia guy so there may be ati problems, but if ati cannot keep up with whats
required, get rid of ati or stop being a tard.
as an ati user running win 7, i think guy's comments are laughable and shows a level of
ignorance.
ati have a beta driver for win 7 and can be downloaded from their website.
nvidia supplies their driver by windows update so both have support for windows 7.
grow up!
