i have used this to install win7 on an old p4 1.8 mhz machine and it works perfectly.

in a day or two you can get a public beta key from microsoft. don't use this.
forget the beta key, this rules and maybe it will work on the final version!
windows defender tries to forward this file to microsoft.....
guess they caught on.
so... how do we keep windows defender from pooching this patch?
warning to every1 about this patch. this patch breaks the backward compatibility in win 7
i have tested so many times and b4 i install the patch i can run setup driver files in
vista compatibility but once the patch is install you no longer can as it gives you a
error everytime you try run something in backward compatibility mode.
that's why it's called beta,hahaha!

still this cracks will works only 1 months then rearm then rearm, this is not gonna work
not expired in january but on july, for first, and it's not rearm but activation. no
need to rearm anything because it's activated. it's already working very well if you're
not aware. and it's a big jump for us, since it's not a timernuke anymore. we'll see if
this will work on rtm. thanks orbit30 you're the best !
yes it does break the backwards compatibility but its not the genuine nor the timernuke
that breaks it, its the "remove watermark" function, i hope this helps in narrowing the
problem, hope you give out a fix ^_^
does anyone know how to fix the gadgets of windows 7 build 7000, they've disappeared
after the patches were installed. can anyone upload a patch for that fix?

so does anyone know how to make the watermark come back and fix the backwards
capability??? i need this to play some games and stuff.
have you disabled uac? for some reason fully disabling uac in 7 removes the gadget
functionality and sidebar. if this is the case and you really want gadgets you'll have
to enable uac -its lowest setting is sufficient to get yer gadgets back and not too
annoying

as far as i know at the moment the only way to reverse what the patch did is to manually
figure out the values it changed, and manually re-enter them back into the registry.
other than that...re-install or maybe a restore point made before the patches were applied

zyrocenus' suggestion is good but pretty hard if your'e not a programmer, i would
suggest that you do a clean reinstall taz. cheers~
i installed this last night, and when i got home today windows 7 had a notification
window up saying my software is not genuine. the activation still seems good though.
well i reinstalled the "plus patch" and rebooted, now it's showing genuine again.i'm
sure it's only temporary though...
1. click start then type services.msc
2. double click windows defender on the
righthand pane then click stop and under startup type select disabled
3 restart
pc
i would also suggest disabiling windows update too. ;)
it looks like windows 7 will be vista with add on's like 98 was just 95 with add on's
hey guys thanks for the help... enabling uac worked...about the activation my win7 shows
the status not available.. i dont know what it suppose to mean but there is no longer any
time limit on it and its working fine.. i updated the time to 24th dec 2009 and its still
working when i restarted... so its all good :)thanks for the help guys !!
what about x64 patch
the other things work except the quit feedbak option, any solution?
wtf are you all trying to crack the activation for? dont you know microsoft is giving
keys away for free?
why spend days trying to find a crack that works and isnt
riddled with virii?
it took me all of 2 mins to get 6 keys directly from
microsoft (3 x86, 3 x64)
