anyone know why ms doesn't just bite the bullet and go 64 bit native? i can see a few
small reasons but seriously...

ok, i'm not at all impressed with windows 7 as of yet. i installed it, used it for
awhile then then deleted it. a few upgrades to vista's "ui", and a couple of improved
features, does not make a new "os".more than half of sevens "ui" improvments can be
easily hacked to work on vista. microsoft better really start doing some major software
engineering, or hang up the towel. i would buy "windows 7", if it was a feature pack
upgrade, but its just not enough for me to stop using vista for at least as long as i used
xp.
one weird thing though, on vista my total score is 5.9, on seven its 7.8
this is just a prebeta version, my guess is that u havent seen the build previewed at
pdc, bcz its way diff than this 1, u will have a chance to get it legally in december if
it wasnt leaked b4.
yeah tried this it is only m3 so it will be like vista but like the comment above if you
seen the preview at the pdc its completely different.
the backup feature of windows 7 is greatly improved. now you can choose which files and
folders to backup and exclude from scheduled backups. can't believe it took microsoft so
long to realize that was needed...

7 will be at all. and yes, ms has got their act together - try version 6933 to see where
windows 7 is heading

does windows 7 have the fatty winsxs directory like vista? i mean in windows xp the same
folder take only couple of mbs where in vista it takes more than 5gb after using couple of
days.
yes it has a large winsxs, the reason the vista/7 sxs is so much bigger is because of all
the improvements in backwards compatibility as well as sand-boxing dlls for programs that
require older versions than the primary versions on the system.
you can make it as the one shown on pdc. just install "blue badge" on the windows &
that's it.....!

its a new
technic that uses the same memory shel (ram) over and over for all of your applications so
you dont need memory at all!!! you need around 756mb of ram for biggest applications!!!
