i have actually tried this and its allot of fun! you don't know what your missing
as if anyone in their right mind would try this, if they do they deserve it, scared &
distraught shut the f**k up go sue your mothers ass for some money

ok, first off , the grill isn't even on. just because you see the cord, doesn't mean
it's plugged into the outlet (off camera)
the biggest myth is that the rubber
will protect them. there are like 5 outlets on that strip. get water in any one of them
and they're toast. and it will smell like burning flesh and vinyl.

however, under normal circumstances, they won't get electrocuted. i've done something
similar to this (ran power through a pond to the island in the middle) and even while i
was swimming with the live extension cord i as fine.

if the power is not earthed then you are safe. the pool is made of rubber which does not
conduct electricity.
i imagine you would get a huge stiff erection if you did short
out the power.

they will destroy their power strip at the worst in that photo. if someone touches the
power strip he may get shocked. the only relevant fact is the path that the electrons
would take. that is what circuit they would travel. no circuit would form with any man
in the photo as they are to far away and therefore the resistance for those paths is so
great that no current would flow to them. really a hot electrode and a neutral electrode
are in the power strip and a circuit path would form between them as they are less than an
inch apart and the water would serve as an electrolyte to conduct the current between the
electrodes, at which point the water would start to steam, boil and produce hydrogen gas
between the electrodes and eventually probably blow a fuse in the power strip, trip a
breaker in the main panel or burn up so bad as to become resistant to current from carbon
deposits or some other buildup. that's as long as no one touches the device anyway, or
gets too close to it. the only other path besides the hot to the neutral is a hot to a
ground and the pool is rubber or vinyl and so the resistance to ground is probably too
much. from an electrical perspective this arrangement is not likely to kill anyone but
would surely destroy that power strip and might give a shocking jolt to anyone very close
to it.

their plugs. but the pool s or lets say the people shouldnt be earthed... butif u are not
on the ground.. u most be flying.
