the integrated digital media and home entertainment software suite.
A trial version of Nero 9 is up for grabs for free (just 370 MB) as Nero announced the availability of the successor of version 8. Nero 9 introduces enhancements across the table, from the graphical user interface to high definition support to autobackup and data protection. According to the developer, Nero 9 is the direct result of intimately incorporating user input into the product.
"In developing Nero 9, we polled more than 3,000 of our worldwide customers to determine the functionality that they really wanted from the suite. This type of feedback has been invaluable to us over the last decade and has shown us that our consumers are increasingly living digital lives where the PC is the center of the home. They require cutting-edge multimedia capabilities which allow them to enjoy and share their content online and across devices with unparalleled ease of use," revealed Jürgen Kurz, senior vice president, Business Line PC and Consumer Electronics, Nero AG.
On the surface, Nero 9 sports an overhauled graphical user interface designed to streamline access to the basic functions of the solution from burning to ripping, to playback, and to backup. Under the hood, the suite brings capabilities including movie ad-removal (Ad Spotter), audio extraction (Music Grabber), high-quality live TV, automatic backup, etc.
Nero enumerated some of the highlights of Nero 9:

nero 9 is horribly bloated. when/if you install this, uncheck everything except nero
burning rom. the rest is crap.
yeah, i drew the line at nero 6 (which works great for me - never longed for anything
else). after that, the bloat really began to seep in.

of course a trial version is free you f-ing tool
it's good but it is a space hog, even if you just install cd/dvd burning the combined
space is still about 500meg. hidden in common files is a fair amount. whats the deal with
backitup? - when you buy nero 9, you get nero backitup 4 free! isn't backitup available
if you enter a valid serial? i can't find it in version 9. not that i care as i use
acronis but wanted to test out this new version
i installed nero 9 and it does't work properly. i uninstalled first nero 8 using nero
remouval tool.
neto start smart keep many secs before it will start and then the cpu
usarge is very hight for approx 45-50 secs. than cpu usahe is ok but the ram used is
approx 40-50 mb. some of you have had the same problems using nero 9? any help please?

too big to run fast and smoot! too much options and applications in bundel.. it make it
not a suitable program...
i installed it and after 15 minutes i removed it voor good!
ms office is big too while it require only 5 mins to install a full fersion, all
programs icluded will start in less than one second. nero9 need 30 mins to install and
programs does't work fast.
by 30 mins we can install an os as vista. uninstalled
nero 9 too! best nero 8.
i check it,it is a good and fully featured programme but it diffficult to registerred it.
any solution on 3rd party license problem, cant use showtime etc. please dont post stupid
ansvers like uninstall and gett ...... insted, or nero s*cks and all that. just a fix for
the 3rd party license shit. thx /kedase

this feels like a beta as there are some bugs like the long start up time for smartstart.
you have to wait for betamaster to release his keygen some people have activation problems
with recode.
delete these c:\programmi\file
comuni\nero\advrcntr4\patentactivation.exe
and
c:\programmi\file comuni\nero\advrcntr4\nosproductregistration.dll
the
first one is the program to run activation and the second one is the service that controls
if activation is required

i could use this for my ubuntu 8.o4
i download nero free trial but i need the serie number to install, how can i get it
hi major problems with nero 9. i downloaded the trail and gone to install it it gets to
2% and then says it can't install. it may just be me being thick.it keeps coming up with
installation error saying it can't be resumed, a rollback of the failed component will be
performed. i don't no what it means but i had nero 8 installed before and that was fine
please help

the people who say nero is too big obviously do a complete install rather than a custom
install, where you just install the bits you want .

don't use nero 9, there is no major difference between nero 8 and nero 9 mainly the
templates. download the templates from the following link and instal it on nero8 folder.
