after applying the crack, i wonder y it did not pass the online validation though... it
said that the copy i have is not genuine. otherwise my winxp looks fine.

works just fine. win update will attempt to install a new version of wga. dont
install and you will be fine.
no, taba, you have to let install the new wga before, then apply the new fix.

on xp pro. i did have to run it a second time tho - after first time i got the nag
screen when i rebooted (which i hadn't had before...only had the banner at bottom right
of screen before that). worked perfectly on next run

i am hoping this will help me with some problems i have apparently purchased a computer
that has an ungenuine copy of xp, so i cant get the sp2 or 3 i need to update my virsus
scanners which are so hopelessly out of date i am chock full of viruses. any help or
advice?

kreinkang: wga crack is not needed for vista as there is an alternative method
when you download the crack, it opens up and when i click on install, it says click
any key. when i do, it does not find any files or copies them. then it says re-boot.
when i do, the same problem...asking for validation. is there is something i am doing
wrong?
probably won't validate online but it let me install wmp11 that previously gave a
validation error (offline install)
i have 4 legal copies of xp and 1 of vista and i will not activate, validate nor register
any of them. the cracks are what keeps m$ in business. and it's none of their business
what i do with their bloat ware. so keep them cracks coming!

an idiot has posted the wga v1.7.69.2 crack and called it v1.8.31.9. doesn't work!!!!
instead of constantly cracking wga, you can use the permanent patch to make your windows
