yea it basically looks like vista, i personally like xazac's concept of windows 7

did windows 95, 98, me, and 2000 have huge visual changes? no, they did not. personally
i will be happy with minor tweaks to the ui, snappier perforamnce, less bugs, etc etc.
not every new version of windows needs to look completely different to justify its release

i get your point but then just don't call this windows 7, call this
windows vista sp2
time to "upgrade" to an apple mac with os x leopard. i'm sick of fooling with
microsoft and what they call a "new os"
omg this will not be the final ui, dont you remember when vista (at that stage longhorn)
was still in early betas it looked exactly like xp, dont worry the ui will change.

steven is going to have a fit. on another note i hope this build gets handed out at the
pdc and winhec, we need something to tinker around with... even though windows 7 is
currently still vista !!! (it hasn't truely changed into its own beast yet, in my
opinion.)

to all the guys than said that this looks like vista, well, when vista started out it

vista sp2.....if it's as restrictive as vista it doesn't matter what features it comes
up with, or how good it looks....besides, this looks like vista...

the actual operating system at the times. vista basically very bad, when you have problems
with vista it is very hard to fix, and all these permissions are beyond me. i know its for
safety but come on we are not all end users. i even find it sometimes hard to use. imagine

well i realized that when having installed the same programs on both windows xp and vista
(didn't have too many though) then vista had about 80000 files altogether while xp had
about 15000??? i don't have any issues with performance but yet i don't have a slow pc
and i can understand you guys, vista is really slower on slower computers i believe that.
and i'm also using linux (opensuse 11.0, don't like ubuntu, looks just like some distro
made of many programs and that's it). you can customize linux in more ways than linux and
it can look so awesome without such vista's requirements...
beta will be in dec 08 and this is the real deal

being controlled, windows 7 will be even worse. soon you will not have an os on your

it is not microsoft's fault you have a shitty computer that cannot run vista. it runs
fine with 2 gigs of ram for me. if you wanna talk about xp being faster, go install frikin
windows 95 and itll be even faster. grow with technology, if you cant evolve, its your
problem. mac is a frikin copier of windows not the other other way around. deal with it,
and if your not a microsoft fan, frikin get off this damn website, go research the next in
mac!
