Microsoft's new WGA for XP v1.8.31.0 cracked!

Tip: Click here to update all your PC's outdated driversYou should know by now that Microsoft enhanced Windows XP anti piracy measures with Genuine Advantage v1.8.31.0 (KB905474).
Just like all its predecessors, the new WGA too seem to have been cracked.
The release .nfo claims that the crack is "100% working on Windows Update, Microsoft Download Center and Microsoft Update". I've seen positive comments from people who ran it on XP SP2 and XP SP3 so it does indeed seem to work.
There is not much information available on the crack's creator/creators; creator is identified only as 'wind'. It doesn't look like a scene release as it has not been on any of the scene pre channels that we monitor. However, a line in the release .nfo file reads "A tribute to ETH0, creator of base version crack." so we can assume that this was based on the popular WGA cracks released by scene group ETH0. ETH0 quit the scene a while ago after they were accused of having insecure members in the group. Someone seems to have continued ETH0's work from where they left it :)
Anyway the pirates have beaten a MS copy protection yet again. Now how many times have we seen that happen?

now that i'm no longer the head cheese at m$ crack away people!!! i kept telling our
security team that it's no use in trying to change the code for wga, because all the
crackers are smarter than you guys...anyway, keep up the good work!!!
dunno how or why but i got myself a windows xp sp3 vlk torrent from piratebay and it does
all the updates without any problem... i didn't even had to enter a serial at install.

what the it professionals in the know are really waiting for is a proper crack/activation
for windows server 2008 so we can have that running side by side our windows server 2003
standalone workstations :) i guess we could use the existing crack that turns win server
2008 into vista ultimate but who wants that.

the crack for server 2008 is on hold until the small business version (cougar) is

not only you mr/mrs tc but the whole world will buy it. it's no way to microsoft to do

no, but they could do a better job pricing than are. i'm very sure they could sell for
less and still make a reasonable profit.this would benefit everyone.

barely use it.
