great program! free, light, efficient.
if you're running windows 3.1 with a intel 286 processor this program may be of some
benefit. it's the only way i can see anyone noticing a real speed increase.
who uses 3.1????????????????
mick, nobody still uses 3.1, hic was just being sarcastic.
reg defragers &
cleaners can do a lot more harm than good. avoid them!!!
registry hives are basically text files. sure gaps can appear in these files but windows
just skips over these gaps, it does not waste time trying to read them. therefore,
defragging the registry is pointless
great stuff :)
tried a registry search using regcrawler prior to registry defrag. (10 seconds) after
registry defrag (2 seconds). running windows xp os (loaded for 8 months). anyone do
testing out there or are we just pulling rabbits out of our a$$es again?
