turn off the indexer and uac and your vista will be 20% faster.

Only on slow PC this is needed ^^^^

i have vista running default setting all is fine.

and see what faster is all about. like many people. i don't care what benchmark #'s say but in real world use vista feels like monster truck in a mud pit.
