yep, it works. with all updates including sp1. no problems.
noob q here; what exactly is "no boot text" which is the difference between 3.0.0.1 and
2.1.2?
vista loader 3.0.1 was not an official release. it was just a modification of v2.1.2 to
remove the boot text.
it means that there are no dos text messages of the boot loader appearing at boot up.
i really don't know which version is the best. version 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.2.0, and
3.0.1 work. i beleive that only 2.1.3 and 3.0.1 show no boot text.
3.0.1 gives you
alot more single click oem options than 2.1.3, which does everything automatically.

i have 3.0.0.1 and it works with no unusual text during boot ups but i see here
references to 3.0.1. are they different?
these activation hacks are only useful if your motherboard's bios is not available with
a modified oem slic table.
you should only use these boot emulation hacks if
all else fails!! ( why? because they rot!)

put in loader 3.0. any ideas as how to remove . below is a explation of the crack i put

i have tryed all these,and it dont work even after a new install, does sp1 write somthing
to the hiden 8 mb windows partition.? when i format with a new vista install.?

i have tried using vista loader 2.1.3 to activate vista sp1 without
success.
this is what i did on a fresh pc:
1. wiped the machine and put a
fresh vista x86 ultimate oem build without a product key
2. then after first log in i
used vista loader 2.1.3 to activate successfully. 3. i then install service pack 1.
the pc then gives me 15 days to activate.
can anyone suggest anything,
i've even tried vista loader 3.0.1 with the same results. nothing i do seems to work and
i am reluctant to upgrade my other machines in case they deactivate too.

after sp1 i used vlv2.2.0 and it worked without issues, and has done ever since.

guys...an slic bios is 'the' best way to activate vista permanently...period ! do a
google search for the motherboard model you have and add "slic bios" after it.

example..i have an asus p5e board, so i would type "asus p5e slic bios". the search
results will point you in the right direction. stay away from software hacks.

1. for vista ultimate originally installed using pre sp1 oem activation crack
2. update and install sp1 - (you will get a message "15 days to activate windows")
check welcome centre you will see windows is not activated.
3. reboot with
the "softmod-iso" cd in rom drive & set bios to cdrom 1st boot device ... (the vstaldr
boot manager will re-hack the bios to simulate a mod bios which supports slp 2.0 with slic
table, and automatically load windows vista when complete.)
4. run comand
prompt as administrator ... and using the same oem version serial from original install
... ie; asus, acer etc ... type the following command.
slmgr.vbs -ipk
"insert your product key here"
(don't use the ") a message will pop
up "product key changed succesfully" it may take a few minutes.
5. extract
"vista sp1 loader v3.0.rar" into a folder on c: drive eg; c:\temp
6. run
comand prompt as administrator.
7. browse into c:\temp ... by typing ...
cd\temp (use the cd prefix to change dir)
8. type install.cmd [oem]
note - replace [oem] with asus, hp, acer ,lenovo, sony or dell.
eg; if you are
using asus, just type "install.cmd asus" in the command prompt with administrator acess.
9. select - oem install hack consistent with your serial number choice above
...
it may take a few minutes to complete.
10. then select product key
... again it may take several minutes to complete task ...
a text box will pop up
"pc will reboot in less than a minute" ...
after reboot go to "welcome
centre/show more details" and at bottom vista should be activated.
i'm on a freaking seesaw. i used vistasp1_loader_3.0.0.1 (activation.exe) and i was all
happy because it worked (post sp1). now, when it comes out of sleep is says "activate
within ... days". a restart makes it "activated" again. can't make its mind up. i
reckon it's going to deactivate at the end of the grace period. what's going on? do i
need to uninstall the previous cracks?

i got a acer travelmate 4150 notebook with insyde software scu mobilepro bios v1.00 and
vistaloader 2.1.3 work on vista build 6000.
but after upgrade to vista sp1
build 6001 vistaloader 2.1.3 wont activate anymore! i have tried format reinstall vista

note, i can't get windows to boot after installing 2.1.3 or 3.0.0.1 vista loader (both
times were after a clean install of vista x64); my bios hangs on "verifying dmi pool

it work for vista ultimate 32x sp 1
i have an hp laptop and can't get it to activate. as a matter of fact, the instructions
say that activation.exe will create a folder on the c drive (c:\gldr) but it doesn't on
mine. it changes the key to the oem but still not activated. can anyone help?
