Windows XP Service Pack 3 Timeline Update

The build number for the final version of SP3 is 5512. Nick MacKechnie: Windows XP SP3 has been released to manufacturing as of April 21st (US Time) with the release to web planned for April 29th (US Time).
The detailed schedule by channel is below. Winbeta also reports that Nick MacKechnie's blog post was removed later during the day. Nevertheless, the release schedule from his blog post can be found below.

what screenshots?
now i get setupqry.inf unabled to initilize error when i click on add remove windows
componests.
has anyone experience porblem with installing ie7 with sp3? ie 7 will not install on sp3.
yea ie7 did install but disappears in half a second everytime i try to launch it.
you will find if you slipstream sp3 into the volume license (corp) version, you will not
be able to install past entering the cd key...
this version is only meant for
oem and retail...
the version on major geeks and the wzt release on pirate bay
(microsoft.windows.xp.service.pack.3.v5.1.2600.5512.rtm.english-w.4150301.tpb) are
identical and genuine. there are certainly others. md5 bb25707c919dd835a9d9706b5725af58
slipstream works with all versions and all milestones(gold, sp1, sp2, etc). to
use volume licence keys with slipstreamed xppro vlk sp3 you copy/paste the original
pidgen.dll from the source system32 folder to the slipstreamed installer you made.
there seem to be issues using the resulting slipstreamed files with large numbers of
addons in nlite.
otherwise, all works well (for me...ymmv)
it should be noted that the pidgen.dll file used to replace the sp3 version should come
from an sp2 source, for any currently valid keys.
sp0 and sp1/1a keys are no more
valid with sp3 than they were with sp2, and in many cases, the sp2-valid keys don't work
with sp3.
the pidgen.dll replacement is suggested on msdn for vlk users, as a
work-around until m$ gets their thing together.

i have a corp copy of xp sp2. what are you saying i need to do to get it to slipstream
properly with nlite.

integrate as always(with nlite or using the command line /integrate: switch)...before
iso generation(but after integration of course), copy/paste pidgen.dll from your source
files to your integrated files, overwriting the existing file.
btw, pidgen=program
i.d. generator. the new version erroneously rejects valid vl keys. you're simply
replacing the new version with one that recognizes sp2-generation vl keys correctly.
hi i have oem xp pro which i bought but have activated it too many times. i use to use
the modified winlogon.exe & reg edit file to activate it but it don't work for sp3 :-(
can anyone help??
