Microsoft Launches New Windows Vista Ultimate Extras

Despite no announcement being made on UltimatePC.com, Microsoft have released a new sound scheme and a content pack for Windows DreamScene as part of its Windows Vista Ultimate Extras offerings for customers who purchased the Ultimate edition of Vista.
After installing the sound pack customers get Ultimate Extras Pearl and Glass sound schemes and additional Windows DreamScene Content.
For those who have been waiting for Ultimate Extras perhaps this is a sign that more is to come from the software giant.

at least some sort of new extra has come
i'm not impressed. until they stop selling space to trialware and crapware, i won't be
impressed. the end used has the right to decide what he installs on his computer and is
usually bright enough to make that decision. my current job is removing all trialware and
crapware from new computers, replacing it with software that works, securing the computer
and returning the computer to the customer. it's a 'niche' business in this area but
it's a pretty fair source of income. i just charge what the market will bear (as does
microsoft).
of course, looking at this situation from another point of view, i suppose that i
shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth...
not impressed either. you figure microsoft is now braggin that they are now making money
off vista. you would figure they could spend alittle more money on this. i could make
better dreamscenes with a camera phone! microsoft you are truely ridiculous. good thing
you cant return software. they are giving up on piracy because you cant pirate what no one
wants. russia and china want it so thet can program thier new nukes. im glad microsoft
doesnt make us weapons. we would all be wearin towels........
