Download Windows Vista SP1 RTM Standalone DVD ISO
section: download, for your questions: KezNews forum, 15.4.2008
Over two months since Windows Vista SP1 was released to manufacturing on February 4, 2008, and almost a month since it became available to the general public on March 18, the first service pack for the latest Windows client is once again available for download.
This is of course Vista SP1 Wave 1 of downloads, following Wave 0 which contained a package of the service pack in only five languages, namely English, Spanish, German, French and Japanese. Now Microsoft has made available the Windows Vista Service Pack 1 All Language Standalone DVD ISO.
"Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) is an update to Windows Vista that addresses feedback from our customers. In addition to previously released updates, SP1 will contain changes focused on addressing specific reliability, performance, and compatibility issues; supporting new types of hardware; and adding support for several emerging standards. SP1 also will continue to make it easier for IT administrators to deploy and manage Windows Vista. Windows Vista Service Pack 1 All Language Standalone version can be installed on any language version," Microsoft explained.
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 All Language Standalone DVD ISO download contains the entire lineup of x86 and x64 versions of the service pack. 6001.18000.080118-1840_iso_client_sp_wave1-FRMCSP1_DVD.iso is a 1418.1 MB download, and Microsoft stressed that end users that are updating just one edition of Vista RTM should turn to Windows Update, rather than use the ISO image of SP1.
In this context, Microsoft has lived up to its promise, to release to manufacturing the remaining language versions of Vista SP1 by mid-April. This month will also bring to the table the debut of Vista SP1's delivery through Automatic Updates. And although Microsoft has only pointed to mid-April without revealing a specific date, the all languages Vista SP1 RTM ISO is proof enough that AU distribution is just around the corner.

bill gates
i love you so much, i would like to kiss you on your mouth, a very
hot ans wet kisses
i would like to rub my hands over your buttocks and squeeze
them, till you scream with joy
well yeah it's good that sp1 came out but i hae sp1 and it's not a massive differnce
between normal vista. the speed for turning off and on is even worse and normal speed of
the computer is not improved like it says it does. and sp1 took about 1 hour to install
which was long, but this is not my point, my point is that sp1 is not special like i
thought it whould be, also i read that sp1 whould improve gaming (i dont know if this is
true) but it dont, agian the same or even worse. so i dont know whats going there.
get those sorted and you will be fine.
so bill you think i should buy a new pc from your frined intel? sorry i refuse to support
wintel. xp runs all my programs fine. i tried vista and it does nothing more than xp can
do, only it does it slower with a higher price tag. vista has no reason to exist, and i
dont like the mac eye candy so s.uck my d.ick you mother grabbing f.ucker!
vista runs on amd, so thats not a valid reason to dislike an os
i am gay, i need a man to make love to me...
hey download link provided is not working...
the doenload link is working!!!
i'm so tired of these retards complaining about how vista is bad, windows xp this, these
are the same morons who said windows 98 was the best and windows xp was a resource hog
(even after sp1 release). do you really think as technology advances and os's get bigger,
computer requirements should get less, than you're an idiot. go get inconsisten linux os
which has nothing and should make your computer scream with speed! seriously... i just
recently upgraded my computer again (not for vista reasons) more for gaming and wow my
computer's speed is amazing. ram & prcoessor are key, if you don't have the power don't
bitch...stay with your old os and don't complain. when the next windows comes out,
everyone will bitch that it's too slow and that vista is the best os, stick with vista,
blah blah it will never end.
those idiots who complain about uac its for your protection, if you are too stupid to
understand how malicious software works its for you. rather than compromising the os and
making sure you don't do anything dumb. its meant for stupid teens and old people who
don't know what the hell they are doing. if you hate it so much or you are an expert
disable it, its 1 freaking click...omg that was so hard.
i'm a queer, but a man's anus is not a s*xual/reproductive organ.
hi!
yesterday i updated through windows update to sp1 and everything works
fine still got the genuine icon. :)
but i can't say that i have noticed an
improvment or anything yet.
vista guy
i waited so long, tolerating all the pain of vista, then finally, yesterday i downloaded
sp1 and installed it - unbelievablely, it is even worse than before - i had a very
high-spec and powerful machine - but now this thing runs like a pig on skates.
m$ft, you cynical rip-off merchants, i would not wish vista on my worst enemy and will be
joining a class-action lawsuit against you goddamn thieves!
in the meantime,
may the curse of ubuntu be ever upon you!
word to the wise, save yourselves -

rebooting

dreamscene said my oem version is illegale.
rebooting once again my
machine
couldn't login.
everytime i tried to login windows logoff time after
time.
good job mickeysoft
yeah that worked fine....
and i can't understand why all people have so many
problems with vista. how come my vista expirience is just good and since i started with
vista all my problems are gone...
must all the hardware be made for vista to
get vista to work....
vista guy
"microsoft has released the update to plug a security hole..."
at m$ft we
often noticed that the main security issue sits between the chair and the keyboard. no
functional usb keyboard or mouse should permit any users to browse websites that vista
cannot defend itself against.
signed b.g.
ps: sp2 will patch the
bios so the on/off switch will be rendered irresponsive to brick secure vista.

the only way to
drive out the vista demons is to format your harddrive and upgrade (clean install) to xp
or ubuntu
pffff.........

thx a lot
vista works perfect only without updates
sfdgvd
i only have vista trough the vista transformation pack but my real os is windows xp home
edition sp2 and i don't know if i can still run this program as well, can i still use
this?
nexus, about your comment: if anyone, you're the moron!
computer
requirements keep getting higher becuse the dipsh*ts at microsoft don't know how to code
to save their lives.
every version of winblowz gets more bloated and causes
perfectly good equipment to come a a screeching halt.
really- besides the
superficial 'eye candy and reading larger hard drives, how mush more functionality does
vista have over xp??? nothing
over win98???? nothing!!
linux has cone
farther in the past 2 years than microsoft has the past 7+
microsoft started working
on vista before the released xp back in 2001/02 and anyone in the it field will tall you,
it's a resounding failure!!!!
half of the os is drm!
anyone
that says that vista is a decent os has their head up their a$$.
i'll take my
linux anyday
vista
virus infestations
spyware
trojans and
adware
linux: none of the above :)
