Paul Thurrott has posted a screenshot gallery of Windows 7, you know -the one that was handed to developers back in December 2007; well for those who have been living under a rock and haven't seen them yet, follow the link below.
"... A few weeks back, the first external build of Windows 7, the next version of Windows, fell into my hands. I installed it initially in just a virtual machine and took hundreds of shots, and that's what you're looking at here. Essentially, Windows 7 build 6519--dating back to December 2007--is just a slightly enhanced version of Windows Vista.
My guess--and at this point, it's just a guess--is that things will change more significantly over time. But even in this early build, a number of interesting developments emerge. I'll have more to say about that in the days ahead. For now, enjoy this first screenshot gallery. It won't be the last."

yup theres nothing in sp1, same shit, only differnce noticeable is when you go into
system info, says sp1
woo hoo! vista's (me2) days are numbered! people have obviously rejected vista and
microsoft has responded.
am i the only one who thinks that those are fake??? i cant help but feel that those are
screenshots of a modified windows vista.
people have rejected vista and microsoft has responded by bringing out vista.
people will reject vista again and microsoft will launch linux.
why do people even post screen shots. you know it's going to look exactly like vista.
vista's problem was not with it's looks but with it's performance, lack of efficient
drivers and overall ability to provide the user the experience microsoft said it would
bring. the price is another issue. no more $400 editions that do not deliver the extras
as promised. i think ultimate buyers should get together and file a class action lawsuit
against microsoft for not delivering what they promised!
its funny you mention "efficient drivers" you know there not a micosoft thing to
supply?
its funny people balme the os for the systme crashes, but fail to
understand that the drivers are from third party vendors, its down to those vendors to fix
not micosoft..
i have vista running on an older p4 with no problems, which
means i went out and found the right drivers for my hardware...
yeah there are no real problems with vista (none that you wouldn't normally expect from
a computer.) its just these users are stuck in a mindframe to just bad mouth it. its sad
really, for the people and for microsoft.

see no sense at all.
early builds tend to use the ui of the previous generation before they add it, it isn't
usually integral to the core os componants that they use these alpha versions to test.
vista no good. bulky, slow, and insufficient. we need an os which is mild in size, very
fast and free.
vista is excellent if you have good computer. i have 4 gb of memory, the newest intel's
processor and guess what?
it's flying. you guys need a new machine that's why you
don't like it vista. i would never go back to pice of shit like xp. get some fresh air
guys.
the os is supposed to control the hardware not take over the hardware. vista has too much
unneeded bulk, so before you call xp a piece of shit, look at vista's footprint and
application compatibility. hopefully the new os keeps posix.

this vista sp2 thing is great and all..... if anyone wants to know i am at school and
hacking the firewall (sonic wall) they say it is the best???? i did it. it is not very

do u relli fink u can download windows 7 weellllll no u cant. itz not even made yet.
i heard that windows 7 is more faster than vista, and hopefully, it just don't require
you another upgrade set. it's worth buying! i think... and i hate vista, i just want the
directx 10 there, hope it works for xp (someone please hack!).
