Yahoo formally rejects Microsoft offer

The response had been expected after Yahoo's intentions were leaked over the weekend.
Many analysts expect Microsoft to raise its offer by $5 billion to $12 billion to entice Yahoo to sell. Yahoo is believed to want a bid of at least $56 billion, or about $40 per share. The decision could provoke a showdown between two of the world's most prominent technology companies with Internet search leader Google Inc. looming in the background...

google has the market to itself. yahoo would hav been saved if microsoft took over. msn
and yahoo messengers technology together would've been mad. search engines by both yahoo
and live are pretty crap.
microsoft tried to fool us by buying yahoo and showing that they were able to provide
superior service.
yahoo ranks second to gooogle in all the aspects where msn
or live terrible in every aspects.
yahoo has emerged to be the best. where

microsoft should know just changing names
of the product does not give you the market share.
yahoo did the right thing
by rejecting ms offer. think what ms would do to yahoo mail, they would limit the email
sent to 10 users at time wherease live services limit to 50 users.
ms services
are poor so they try to be over smart.
where is google version of operating
system? google make your os and bring it out.
