Microsoft To Buy Logitech?
section: microsoft, for your questions: KezNews forum, 10.1.2008
There's loud whispers in the business community that Logitech, makers of (among other things) fine console and PC gaming peripherals, are about to be bought out by Microsoft.
Neither side will comment publicly on the rumours, however one trader has offered this brilliant quote:
Supposedly, Microsoft is supposed to be taking over Logitech, offering 48 francs a share. Then the mouse-maker would be worth around 10 billion francs.

this would practically mean that i would be forced to buy microshits crappy
plastic-shitty products when i want a mouse or keybopard. thia is horrible news!
microshits products eats ass! logitech make lovely products! i just love their mx
revolution mouse.....it's soooo sweet! :-)
i was a logitech-fan, but i did an up(?)grade to vista, and until last week (when i
switched back to xp) there still was no support from lt for my dinovo keyboard. yes, it
works, but no bluetooth, it's main feature. logitech already is ms.
i think that both companies will become rich of that acquisition, i do not have anything
and against of microsoft, i love windows vista
i have exclusively used logitech products (keyboard, mouse, and webcam). like hundreds
of thousands of users, i have been very disappointed with logitechs x64 drivers, or lack
of them. this is the best thing that can happen. logitech may get thier act together and
finnally offer some solid x64 drivers and maybe thier support team will finally get some
training and know what they are talking about for helping their customers. this is the
biggest downfall of logitech, no drivers!!! way to go microsoft!!!!! keep it up.
