install win98 on a new computer! wow!!
nice but the windows-xp is already so much faster than the windows vista without any
tweaking.
we are urgently need a tweaking software that can speed windows vista up
around 100 times faster.
i was daft enough to try this, but unistalled it quickly. however a secondary hardware
profile menu still comes up on booting with sparklexp option on it even though i've
uninstalled it. does anyone know how to get rid of this please?

enter the system configuration utility
start... run... enter
"msconfig"... click "ok"
on the boot.ini tab, click "check all boot
paths" and remove any that "do not refer to a valid operating system"
thanks for your suggestion mate, but already tried that approach. there is only one entry
in there - the xp i boot from! your advice was appreciated though, thanks.
