the last time i installed one of the sp1 files someone released for vista, it literally
took hours to install on my computer. whatever the idiot used to compress the thing was
just insane... my bet is he used that stupid 7-zip program to compress it.

mate, you want to change all your regional / language settings to english (united states)
and then install the pack, and revert your settings after. it'll install then ;)
everyone, if you installed one of the earlier releases, you will have to reformat to
install this one. you will get an error that the update doesn't apply to your system
because it is already installed otherwise, at least windows "sees" it as being installed
already, and it won't let you install it twice.

if the time bomb of 2008 bothers you, this version of sp1 you can actually uninstall
unlike the 1st version
installed it on my ultimate dell oem version thats floting around and works fine.

installed on ultimate with asus oem and no time bomb or evaluation...all good, no missing
features.
remember to make sure your locale is english (united states) in
regional properties or it won't install.
installed on paradox activated system.
activation was reset to 15 days left.

yes it windows vista fails to stay activated with certain cracks, but there are many that
the serial pack does.

the clony crack as on boot up didnt get all the mumble jumble show up.

stuff from this latest service pack :)
well guys, i just found this, nd program that creates a boot manager wont work after
installing sp1, so if u wanna crack it, u gtta do it b4 installing it, nd then install.
p.s use vista loader, cuz its d only one working.
why not go in and google the sidebar? it isn't changed (that i'm aware of) from the
regular vista sidebar.
as for the hal.dll problem,i'm glad that you found the
answer. vista loader is the only answer that i've found so far.
finally, those
of you that get the incompatible message when you try to install, make sure that you set
everything (and i do mean everything) to english.
remember, this is a
pre-alpha release. it isn't even up to "beta" standards yet, so if you don't
experience problems, consider yourself very fortunate!!!

ie7 under vista sp1 crashes when looking at microsoft virtual earth (local.live.com)
ie keeps crashing, all boot loader cracks cant install, explorer crashes, cd roms read
cds as empty, and installations fail most of the time.
all the upload on rapidshare of vista sp1 are blocked....don't upload there....
