9to5mac, has some spy shots for the new iPod! It has the same form factor as the iPhone with some notable exceptions.
Here are:
* Outside rim is black, not silver like the iPhone and more flush with the screen like the 5.5G iPods not rounded like iPhone
* No ear speaker or microphone for phoning
* Thicker - slightly
Things that are the same:
* OSX Embedded OS
* 480×320 screen
* Coverflow-enabled iPod application
* Single button home navigation
Things we wish we knew:
* WiFi? (This is the Capper)
* GPS?
* NAND RAM and/or 160GB Hard Drives configs?
* Cost? (Like it matters)
Now, we just have to wait for Apple to officially announce this product and then this product will be selling out everywhere this Christmas season.

so that ipod wont have a touch screen???
and yeah we need to know if there is wifi
or not but am kinda sure that apple should put a wifi coz zune have wifi
this is 100% fake. it is a 3d rendered image!
check the side of the ipod and
you will see it is not smooth.
i don't think they'd want to sell it for much more than the current ipod retails for.
over the years they have been lowering the price with every model so increasing it
especially to around the price of an iphone would have big impact as younger users would
not be able to afford it.
can't wait! because i live in canada i have no access to the iphone. i will have access
to the new touch screen ipod! and it seems that it will have an os, larger touch screen
and more memory. i don't care about the price but i do care about the battery life.
let's hope the battery lasts longer.
how can you call this a "spy shot". this is a 3d animation. if you look close enough
(bottom left corner of the ipod) you can even see the creator's name: "1381 designs"
sorry everyone just someone's idea on what it could be.
this could be a fake so easily but yes it would be cool to have a ipod like that,
specially with a 160gb hdd (lol now thats space right there).
if you go to the website you see that they say it is a mockup photo of what it is,
meaning it's not a real foto but a design of what it will probably look like.
that's an iphone made into an ipod .. i've seen the original photo of the iphone on
deviantart .. search there
it's obviously faked, looks so much like an iphone =))
it looks the same as the iphone and is offered in a disappointing 8gb/$299 and 16gb/$399.
the battery life is horrible and the price is outrageous for the poor hard drive space
offered. i was looking forward to buying one but i will have to wait until they offer a
larger hard drive, at least 30gb. well it’s a disappointing day for me.
