Perhaps no other cell phone in history has been as anticipated as Apple's iPhone. From the moment it was announced by Apple to the time it was released six months later, the cell phone was a constant topic of rumors and speculation.
Now that it's here, we can report that the iPhone largely succeeds on most fronts, particularly as a music player, but it's hardly the only cell phone with multimedia prowess. The Nokia N95 also offers a raft of music and video features and admirable performance. So which one is better, you ask? Well CNET is here to provide an answer, as we pit the two phones against each other in their first head-to-head match-up.

what it's so special in iphone,no gps,no extra card memory,no 5mpx camera? the only
better thing it's the multi toutch monitor but i don't like to me any touch screen
monitor.. i belive the n95 it's much better!

i live in the uk, i own an iphone and an n95 (hsdpa 3g and all) and i can safely say
under no shadow of a doubt the iphone wins hands down, the n95 does everything it says on
the tin, but it does none of them that well, it has a gps that wont replace my satnav, it
has a 5mp camera that wont replace my camera, it has hsdpa which wont replace my internet
connnection, great phone but not particularly good at anything, sure the iphone dosent
have such amazing features as the n95 but it does everything it tries to and it does
everything really well.
'nuff said.

i just bought an iphone and honestly, it's a piece of glossy black shit.
i've been using a wm6 htc (w/gps), but just bought the iphone for my girlfriend.
let me tell you, the iphone lacks a few things, and it's not perfect, but actually
using it is a joy. no other phone i've seen comes close in user experience, not htc, not
the n95.
to all the pimply geeks who have not used an iphone, stop blabbering.
the iphone takes it to a whole new level.
