Vista SP1 was released to a tight small group of lucky beta testers, it isnt clear if WinXP SP3 was released to the same testers, but it was let out to a equally lucky group of beta testers!! This build is tagged 5.1.2600.3180 (xpsp.070718-2058) Just as the unclear release dates of Vista SP1, XP SP3 is just as cloudy.
Some say we wont see an offical release untill 1st quater 2008, but this alpha pre-release of SP3 is a good sign. Stay Tuned to keznews.com for updates on both Service Pack, I am on the hunt for info and possible leak!!

forgive me, but isn't windows xp the msot used operating system in the world? so you
would think surely everyone would be interested in sp3 right?

could microsoft instead pass on more wga and additional unwanted code, helping to win

i can't see any significant changes at the moment with sp3 but my patched uxtheme.dll
file has been overwritten and now i can't use custom themes in xp.

the vista sp1 ur posting links to is just a bunch of updates not an service pack
i just posted using name on the file and removed the password to extract thats all
anybody than install sp3, can say, if have invalidated the wga of sp2, in case that ur
don't have original xp?.... maybe it's better wait to end of year to see a beta
release...remeber this a pre-alpha.
sp3 installed wga still working ok win update ok validation ok
i have integrated the sp3 into my sp2 corporate disc and now my corporate serial won't
work on a fresh install... does anyone have a serial?
