these drivers are still crappy. digital vibrance turns off when you launch a full screen
application.
7900gtko still has random major screen corruption when running some apps. its pretty sad
my old ati x600 is doing great in my old machine with vista. given all the bullshit i've
gone through to get vista to halfway run right on decent machines.....i will never pay for
this bloated shit. i tip my hat to parodox and the other groups out there sticking it in
microsofts corperate ass!
thats very good
the reason why you got screen corruption is because you got an overclocked card, so
insted of that you will need to flash your card with a bios with stock speeds (memory and
gpu)
still beta drivers!!!
"geforce fx users should continue to use the v96.85 driver."
what a load of
crap.
the 96.85 driver is dated october 2006 -- 9 months old!! and when i
try to install it on vista (for my fx5200) it blue-screens halfway thru the installation.
yeah, dont expect much for an update .... i dont think the unified thing still exist on
nvidia.... maybe dropping the support for 4ti/5xxx sooner than expected... even 6xxx and
7xxx are getting some late update... worst 8xxx series are still dissapointing... cant
even get to run 60fps *vsync on* on gtx with all things up on dx10 games. maybe lets try
and wait for a new competitor to compete with ati and nvidia... then maybe they`ll think
twice on releasing lousy vcards....
dd you are some what correct.yes 7900gtko is factory overclocked. i had already thought
of and was willing to run nvidia ref. frequencies. if you would've done any research at
all you would know the memory is crap. evga even says it is an "unrepairable" hardware
defect that cannot be fixed by modifying the gpu, memory,or pci freq. a driver or bios
revision would not compensate for deffective hardware. if it was that simple to fix there
wouldn't be so many rma's. read the forums dumbass.
you can not polish a
turd!
these make fsx bluescreen every time
