yes it does, one eye. give it a try cos' your laptop really needs something not too
heavy and this lite version could be a perfect match. make sure to read everything before
downloading it. remember that they have removed several things... i do see it as a
reliable alternative.

to mm: vlite version 1.0 beta can do
unattended setup. i tested it and works very well.
for those who dont want to
waste time, just download vlite from www.vlite.net and make your own lite vista by
removing all components + unattend installation.
i havent visited vlite website in awhile. now i could do unattended installs on their
newest version of vlite.
well, basically you will be getting rid of many features (apps) in windows vista ultimate
with this download.
as i see it, the problem with you laptop is the memory ram
available in that system to run windows vista ultimate. since your main problem is based
on the ram i recommend you to try ready boost as your first option. you can get a 2gb
flash drive for less than $30 and use it as ram with windows ready boost technology which
can significantly improve system responsiveness. if you are not going to use or if you
don't need none of the features that were taken away in this lite version then go ahead,
download it, extract it, burn it onto a cd and install it...
additionally, even
after downloading and installing this lite release i strongly recommend you to get a
capable flash drive and use it as ram (ready boost)...

can anybody write me, how to integrate oem crack to the installation dvd???? thanks. i
have the asus slic in bios, so i don't need to apply oem emulation....only need to
integrate the oem certificate. :)
links on rapidshare don't work anymore..
i know how to do that. basically a cmd file placed in vista dvd will run during
installation and insert certificate + corresponding key making vista activated oemly upon
finished.

since you only want integrate certificate, you can
modify the cmd file to do just that.

i tested the os on virtual pc 2007, works just fine, although it's a little slow on 256
mb ram, use bigger ram. the crack is the paradox crack, vista is activated and yes u can
use windows update (be selective what you download from it). nice work!

i gotta tell ya,i was a lil sceptical about this lite version all because,ive made some
vista lites on my own,and although i strip it out of everything,the size always were
700+mb
but good work,whats more impressive is the stability of this vista ultra
lite.i think this is what bill gates should have done with the new os...not pack it with
incredible useless apps no one uses or needs.
one more thing when i do my vista lite
i take out the windows media player 11 plus its core codecs and replace it with a nice
kmplayer which does not need a routine instalation,thus,it can be integrated on vista.
trust me,it works better,and its even more stable,plus "chews" on less ram.

the way,dont try to download mui language packs from microsoft,they dont work,in fact i
tried 3 mui packs,french,spanish and portuguese.neither one of them has installed,or
worked for that matter.
anyways,none the less its an excellent vista lite,and i
recomend it to everyone.
p.s.-product key works great...so does the
updates,just remember first to download the update program,logoff or restart and then go
back to updates,or else you'll get an error message.

i was the one that uploaded the torrent to tpb and demonoid. torrent is working just
fine... i'm seeding it and we have 255 peers so far... torrent speed is not bad at all so
give it another try....

btw, i install this version and it worked fine until
i isnstall nforce4 15.00 drivers. it would no longer boot up cause the royal.sys driver
memory conflict. so i removed that and installed softmod loader and it worked fine until
one day windows froze and i had to press reset button on pc and it wouldn't load anymore,
it just would stop after chkdsk was done and one time i pressed reset while chkdsk was
running and it totally corrupted the partition so bad i couldn't even format it until i
decided to remove the disk reboot to xp then shutdown and connect drive again. then i
booted to xp again and used getdataback to restore some files.

an iso file is an image of a cd or dvd, its worked
like an archive(rar,zip) you can use use many different software to decompress like
winiso for exemple ( i use nero it can convert an iso and burn it an it can make an iso
with a cd/dvd)
