AMI Bios Tool by Gkend

I will go more into details the upcoming days; however blow you will find a preview of it :)
The tool was used by Gkend to modify bios for other people, since he has not much time he decided to make it public.
This tool will automatically revise your Bios (add the SLIC), you can revise as much as you want.
How to use:
(thanks to ztpkmn2006 for the English translation)
1. run mmtool.exe > click “LOAD ROM” button and load your original BIOS file.
2. in the module list(*or table) select 1B module > extract and save the file name as 1B.rom
3. run AMIOEMSLIC.exe > select 1b module file as 1B.ROM > select SLIC file as the OEM Brand you need > select your original BIOS file name and finally click “??1b??”button (the “revise 1b module” button) ,then click “???BIOS” ( “change to BIOS”)
4. and finished
(please take note to change your BIOS file’s read only attribute)

does this mean that it modifies my actual bios instead of just emulating a bios driver as

i tried to do this on asus p5rd1-vm but it didn't work. i know what the instructions are
about..
it didn't work work properly on my comp!!
i changed it into a different extract and it worked

for basic input and output system. it is sometimes called the rom bios because it was
originally stored in a read-only memory (rom) chip on the motherboard. the bios is the
first program to run when you turn on your computer. it performs the following functions:
!: initializing and testing the hardware in your computer (a process called
post, for power on self test)
2:loading and running your operating system
3:managing setup for making changes in your computer
4:helping
operating systems and application programs manage your pc hardware by means of a set of
routines called bios run-time services.
but what is the difference with this
ami bios tool and can it be run to update bios on intel boards ???

yes, work !! on my asus p5gdc-pro, now using this app. added slic table and vista ok !!
could screw 'em, this.
i used everst 2007 ultimate and slic didn't show up on xp... but it showed up on vista!!

my computer's bios file got corrupted during flashing!! i have to buy a new bios chip
now!! crashfreebios 2 doesn't work.
just want to make sure this worked... i followed instruction exactly. all steps proceeded
without error but rom file is exactly the same size as before modification. is this
correct or should it change sizes? thanks!

jeffy, 2 options for ya.
1. possible you might have success with a hot-flash
if you have a spare mobo kicking around of the right type. google 'hot flash'
2. alternatively look up jack at badflash.com - used him before, he does new bioses by
mailorder for next to nothing.
is there any chance for a award version of this tool?
so what about intel .bio ami files if i rename it to rom during loading get error! does
