dont laugh,it happened to me once, only it wasnt the cpu,but the power source. and it
worked!
ok laugh a little...
that fan cost more then then the right one.
with my first computer, i was a newbie and i didn't know why my amd k6-ii sometimes
buzzed, but i discovered that with a fan it stopped.
now i know that was the cpu fan
i actual used a table fan the size of the case once.
for people who assemble equipment or gadgets, there is nothing remarkable about using a
make-shift fan.
move on to the next story.
i did this too, back on my amd duron 700mhz processor.
try doing this on a new cpu like a core2 duo processor...lol!
ive tried the table
fan too,but was bc it went up to 42ºc once, here where i live.so i needed a little extra
cool air. ;)
wth!!! this is funny...
lol. thats funny ^o^. that thing brobably cools way better than conventional cooling.
had the same problem once with a amd 700 mgz no biggy worked fine with a normal table fan
lol
there is no way you can keep a processor cool with a table fan, you f u cking bull
shitters
as long as you have a heatsink it will work. i wouldn't suggest trying it with a core 2
duo or amd64. how many cfm's is a hsf actually throwing at the heatsink vs a large fan
close up. think about it dumbass. oh and i use a 12 osillating fan to cool my 1ghz amd by
the way. it works pretty well i would say since it runs 24/7 as a server and max temp is
25c it's over 7 yrs old and works fine. put that in your pipe and smoke it genius. bob
stay in school and maybe you'll learn something...eventually. x-)
i think that's the way pcs are heading for... prefer these solid old style fans than the
teeny weenie ones.
possibilities are endless as microsoft once said. :):):):)hehehehe
you need to shove that table fan up your ass and let it cool down your hot head.
thats what i do. down here in australia, on our 40 degree days, this works wonders,
keepin ma rig cool :)
why not underclock and use passive cooling? thats: no sound, consumes less electricity
and makes ya special cuz not many ppl actually do it :p
i used to do this trick myself last summer untill i replaced my stock intel cooler with a
zalman cnps9500-led which is the mutts nuts the stock cooler sounded like it was about to
take off when the temp stated creaping up now i can't even here it.
