Vista Brute Force Keygen

section: download, for your questions: KezNews forum, 1.3.2007

Thanks to Computer User to report this way and to Snooza to prepare the pack! This method is a brute force attempt at determining a usable key.

This has been reported to work!......look at the following user comments!!!

salmypal wrote: 5 hours and i got 3 legit keys. will leave it on for 2 days and will keep letting everyone know. need one ? i'll give only if your a long time keznews user. Wink

Nice easy to follow instructions thanks guys:

1: download the file slmgr.zip (links below)

2: make a backup of C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs (in case the keygen works, replace it back with the original)

3: use slmgr.vbs from the zip-file to replace the one in C:\windows\system32\. If you have problems with permissions, select file...goto properties....take ownership....then change permissions.

4: write down your partial or entire productkey. You can check your key with "magic jellybean" (from our pack)

5: goto Start > Run, type "cmd" and OK. Now type "C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -ipk generate". A process called "wscript.exe" will start and can take quite a lot of CPU resources. It will check aprox. 10000 keys per 30 minutes.

6: now the waiting begins. It can take very very very long before you get some results

7: after some time (hours, days) check your productkey with "magic jellybean" again to see if it has changed

8: if your serial has changed try to activate Vista by going to Start > Run. Now type the command "C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -ato"

DONE!

KEYGEN PROVIDED BY COMPUTER USER!...thanks fokes for your "patience!" Laughing

DISCLAIMER: under no circumstances should anyone sell the key that they generate. I do not support Piracy, this was simply an experiment in which i used to practice my vbscripting. This was just for fun and was a complete accident! sorry for cracking your beautiful operating system BILL GATES

I strongly encourage everyone to purchase windows vista, and be a genuine customer!

PERMISSIONS

By ASHLEY on 01.03.2007 - 10:03
if you have problems with permissions, select file...goto properties....take ownership....then change permissions.
j'arrive pas a changer les permissions!!!!!!!! help me please

same pb

By p@pilou on 01.03.2007 - 11:03
meme pb que ashley, same pb with f*** permission; please help a dummies!!

how to change permissions

By Guest on 01.03.2007 - 11:03
take ownership of the file
- right click file, click properties
- click security tab
- click advanced
- click owner tab
- click edit
- click administrators group
- click ok
- click ok to the message
- click ok twice more to close out all properties dialogs
now that you are the owner of the file, you can change the permissions on
the file even though you do not have explicit permission to do so. however,
you still can't modify that file - you have to give yourself that
permission.

Permission

By Jeffo on 01.03.2007 - 11:03
for pass the permission open cmd and go to the folder with slmgr.vbs and write " takeown /f slmgr.vbs " after this go to the properties of slmgr.vbs and change permission for local user to allow modify and write and press ok, after this you can delete or rewrite original slmgr.vbs with the other slmgr. so you can run the generate process. sorry for my english.....:-)

stop timer is better

By moryanne on 01.03.2007 - 13:03
stop timer is better... with this key you must recheck your registration with microsoft at 180 day! with stop timer ! you never need that!

Post how long it takes you, and your CPU.

To "Vista without a key"

By some guy on 01.03.2007 - 13:03
"can this be used when vista has been installed without a key ???"

i think so. i installed without a key but when i run magic jelly bean it appears i do have a key. probably the same for you?

For some guy

By matador on 01.03.2007 - 13:03
hi..this no keygen, but key finder.

Relevant info

By some guy on 01.03.2007 - 14:03
if you choose not to enter a product id when you install windows vista, the setup program automatically supplies a default key. in that case, the information displayed by slmgr -dli or slmgr -dlv will be one of the following default keys, which cannot be activated:

* business - mrw4w
* businessn - qxx44
* homebasic - 3v4vd
* homebasicn - gfjbt
* homepremium - 76pkf
* ultimate - rp8f7

Virus?

By none on 01.03.2007 - 14:03
is it a virus/worm?

nod32 reports this:

"brute_force_keygen.rar »rar »keyfinder.exe »rar »officekey.exe - win32/pswtool.ras.a application"

some advice please....
maybe is a false positive.

STOP IT

By Micros43 on 01.03.2007 - 14:03

relevant info

By mikkie on 01.03.2007 - 14:03
i don't understand what you mean, somegeuy. when vista is installed without a key, will this keyfinder thing work yes or no?

strange

By noise on 01.03.2007 - 14:03
task manager showing no processes using cpu.

sidebar showing 50+% cpu under constant use.
services showing slsvc running.

i assume its trying to generate a key?

i installed vista without a key and used time stop... wonder if its even worth having a key.. time stop is probably better?

stop it

By noise on 01.03.2007 - 14:03
how are we supposed to stop the generation thing if its not showing a process running?

reboot?

Yeah it should still work

By some guy on 01.03.2007 - 14:03
i guess. what would be the point in finding a key if you already had one?

i would like to hear from anyone who started off (like me) with the default ultimate key. i've been going 4 hours now with no luck.

Stop it

By some guy on 01.03.2007 - 15:03
what about if you kill the process "wscript.exe"? does that put an end to all the cpu usage? otherwise yeah, reboot...

brute farce??

By maaxxx on 01.03.2007 - 15:03

confirm if key found

By mike on 01.03.2007 - 15:03
i'm runing this process over 3 hours and still nothing. can anyone confirm that this method works.

I've just done a bit of reading about it

By some guy on 01.03.2007 - 15:03
from what i understand, the nuts and bolts of it is that it generates a completely random key in each loop.

it'd be really good to have some idea of the chances we have of finding a key in any given 5 hour time frame.

it says that it tries about 10000 per 30 minutes, but if you do the maths, there's literally trillions of combinations possible. i don't know how many keys ms would deem legit, probably somewhere between about 100million and a billion... divided into the different versions of the os.

at this point i'm thinking that the chances of someone using this program in it's current state and finding a key is really really slim... i'm no maths major but i'm thinking it could take years.

hopefully i'm wrong, and also hopefully they can improve the programming somehow.

Hallo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By jejede on 01.03.2007 - 16:03
i would like to know if this method activate vista permanently or not!!! i´m waithing and waithing, but i´ve no more pleasure now...!
