manufacturer versions of the operating system are illegally activated through a process that involves patching the BIOS of the motherboard.
A whole range of OEM certificates providing Windows Vista activation exist currently in the wild for a variety of makers. The list of BIOS patches for Windows Vista OEM activation contains names like: Acer, Abit, Aopen, ASUS, DFI INFINITY, EpoX, Gigabyte, MSI, Onda, Soyo and Unika. However, the hacking community was hard at work and has added a few other brands to this list.
Now OEM certificates for heavyweight bands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo and Sony are also involved with the workaround for Vista activation. Via the OEM crack, the copies of Windows Vista are activated without connecting to any activation provider. According to the description of the workaround, the BIOS must support SLA 2.0.
In this regard, the Vista activation is persistent, which means that just by providing a correct and valid OEM product key, the operating system will not need to be activated online. Hackers have also released OEM versions of Windows Vista DVD media complete with the digital certificate.
OEM Activation is designed as a software protection technology for Vista, built upon Windows XP's System-Locked Preinstallation. The main purpose of Vista OEM activation is to associate the operating system to the firmware of the physical computer and to prevent the transfer of an OEM OS on another machine.

you can buy the oem on ebay or any store for $100 and it will be your to keep with a real
cd key! i dont know why ppl would pay $100 on a game or console and yet not on vista!
cause vista is a piece of shit that doesnt deserve 100 bucks osx ftw!

using an "unofficial" version since the end of november 06.
i did not
reinstalled, i just activated using my new serial number.
cannot spend my time
following any latest release of timer cracks. i also feel somewhat better.

one question; since i reformat my pc 5/6 times a year, will i have problems re-usign my
serial number in future reinstalls, like it happened with xp ?

hi, this is the first time i post here, but i'll tell you, i've formated my hd several
times since the last month, and i had no problem with the activation, you can reactivate
the vista a lot of times in the same computer, the problem is when you change from
computer, or change an important part of the computer, like the processor, or the
motherboard, then you'll have to reactive by phone if the online activation fails :(
to bubino, if you are buying software, then what are you doing here? shouldn't you be
at www.msn.com. see i started out buying all my software just like you. but after being
burnt a few time by these companies i changed my way of thinking, example: bad tech
support, no tech support, fake rebate offers, and the list goes on. there was a time when
i was all for those people and against hacking, imagine that. but i came to realize that
the hackers were much more of a friend (this does not apply to the novice user) then they
were. that was many years ago and i have a saying: "if i have to pay for it, i don't
need it". if these people go out of business do to lack of support then so be it!

cool then, no crack needed, and no illegal cracks/patches to use. just the bios to do
its job and legit vista ultimate, if someone cares to share their license with us.
i checke my bios and it says it supports acpi but i dont see it in everest ?

if you format your computer 5/6 times a year i have no idea why on earth you would bother
buying vista.
with the re-arm patch (not a hack at all but something built into
the os), you can give yourself up to 120 days use without hassle.
if you format
even just 5x a year that works out at roughly every 70 days. this patch will allow you to
run almost twice that time without any hassles.
you could basically have just
used vista ultimate hassle free for zero cost instead of paying for a reduced version of
it.

running a vaio here. any links? i dled a couple versions of vista from isohunt.com...
kinda scared to try them. look confusing. not sure of the compatibility issues involved
with vista either. i weight train work and jui-jitsu so i just don't have time to trial
and error this things all day
why would anyone endager their system with a patched bios?
the only thing this does
is you don't have to activate (same as if you use timestopers or kes-server) but since
all keys are individual (contrary to xp even all the oem-preactivation keys are) as soon
as m$-update detects one key being used by more than 1 pc the thing will get banned (and
vista will probably start naging - same with timestoper and kes)
so there's
nothing real to gain with this (and any other method), since m$ can always adapt via
updates (and there will probaly be lots of them ;-) )
botomline is: people who
whant automated updates directly from m$ without the hassle of hunting down the updates
(and having to avoid the ones that deactivate their "crack") and that for longer than a
few weeks, will have to buy vista.
for all the others kes/timestoper already work.
you dont need to install vista oem, vista retail works fine.

you dont need a license file or product for you make of pc. the software included in this
crack will emulate that make, so you can install the asus file becuase this one has a
complete set of product keys
installed home premium and applied the bios emulator thing then executed the 3 commands,
it worked and it passes wga !!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
crack files do exist, the timersys one has been working on my vista ultimate for 40 days
now, windows update works fine too, so do try to grow up a bit.
download from you fav torrent site..install vista with cd key..wehn done run that crack
by simple clicking on it..within a few minutes you have a validated copy of windows...its
as simple as that.... i've done it!
yes i can download all the vista patches no problem! this is what you have been searching
for!!!
i ment install vista without entering a key..not sure what it would do if you enter a
key.
