Tip: Click here to update all your PC's outdated driversWindows Vista Ultimate users began to receive the first set of "Ultimate Extras". But arguably the most anticipated Ultimate Extra was not there -- Windows DreamScene.
Windows client director, Jeff Putt has confirmed that this extra will not be available in its final form immediately after launch. However, a technology preview may be coming soon for Windows Vista Ultimate users who want to give it a try.
Windows DreamScene enables users to use looping high-definition video content (MPEG, WMV) as an animated wallpaper. Thanks to the new 3D accelerated desktop in Windows Vista, the animated wallpaper uses virtually no CPU (just a little for decoding the video).
Microsoft demonstrated Windows DreamScene yesterday at the launch event which showed Windows DreamScene using an animated wallpaper created by Stardock. The wallpaper they showed will be available exclusively at Neowin.net's partner site, WinCustomize.com, in February.
More information on public availability for Windows Vista Ultimate users is expected soon.

you need the offline installer of dreamscene to install it. just search a little bit with google!
great, so when the computer is infected with those blasted popup pr0n ads, they will have the choice of
showing it to you in your screensaver as a video too... explain that to the
wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend...
stop being a dirty little fag and going on pr0n sites every 2 mins, get a life dude.

so why in the hell did the
websitehttp://windowsultimate.com/blogs/extras/archive/2007/02/02/windows-dreamscene.aspx say otherwise? the
time of release date info is now gone.. can we say false advertising by saying that it will be out on the
release of vista but now they change the info..
they said that so users would go out and buy vista
ultimate
vista will have drive-by installs of adware just like xp did. this adware will use the dreamscene to loop its
crap videos of ads. those may include pr0n. do not believe the marketing bs that it is secure. nothing written
by man can withstand attack by man.
ive got the beta version of dreamscene, it runs great...
its bs takes alot of cpu power. man i was doing this in 1985,and only 2 megs.
true 32bit not 8bit
